Good Cans, But May Not Be For Everyone.. November 15, 2008 I really like these phones. I had a set of Grado Labs 125's that I sold to get these. The Grado's are crisper and cleaner, but the Sennheiser's are richer and more powerful at the bottom end (which is my own personal preference). If you're not real big on bass and low end, you may want to look somewhere else becuase these probably won't be your cup of tea. If you are a hardcore demanding audiophile you might find these too strong on bass and not balanced enough at the higher frequencies. If however, you just want some cans that can kick out some nice fat bass, give these a try.
Sounds O.K, but VERY uncomfortable October 31, 2008 It has been a couple of month since I have been using this. I have little complain about the sound quility; it produces crisp and clean sound, generally good for any type of music. My biggest compalint is the ear cups. I have smallish ears, however the cups are way too small for them. They are sqeezing my ears too hard; even after 10 minutes of use, my ears are hurting. I used to have very cheap AKG headset, and it was way more comfortable, with much bigger ear cups. I regret buyinng this one just because this one has many good reviews. I am going to buy another AKG as soon as this one breaks.
You won't regret getting these! October 31, 2008 Pros: They are comfortable- I was worried after reading reviews that they're too tight, not adjustable, etc. but they proved to be comfortable for my average sized head. Granted, I don't use them for more than an hour or two. Sound is amazing. Bass is not overwhelming as some have stated- they handle mid and highs quite nicely. I'm noticing sounds I didn't before in my songs.
Cons: Cheap plastic look.
Simply Amazing October 18, 2008 I am the lover of Bass....I bought Audio Technica AT7 Noise Cancelling headphones...they are good..but not for the bass lovers..and big problem was sound leaks like hell. Then i found this, and ordered it. First of all they are amazingly light weight, and Bass is amazing. You can feel that woomb feeling...Only enhancement i feel is needed is if company can make it little portable then these are the best..
Sennheiser Realizer October 17, 2008 Clean, crisp sound. Light and comfortable, these provide excellent bass response and beat any Bose alternative for twice the price. I've been buying Sennheiser headphones for over twenty years. They are always wonderful. Comes with the .25" to .125" adapter, so one can use these with any stereo, regardless of jack size. One point of contention, and that's the lifespan of the felt that's used as the barrier between your ear and the speaker withing. It is soft and thin, and wears out after a few years of serious use. STOP BUYING BOSE!! Realize and Sennheise . . . so to speak.
