I received the product as a defect, it was missing the metal prongs that contacts with the wii remotes metal prongs/contacts so i had to get a replacement with the vendor, the battery cover seems like a cheap mold where the edges of the cover stick out from the wii remote just a bit. If your only looking for a item that will save you money just go get a set of energizer rechargeable batteries unless you like the blue led ring on the bottom of the case there isn't much else that this item has to offer.
P.S. It seems the life of the rechargeable pack is short in comparison to energizers, and the nyko charge station
