Great for when you are bored July 21, 2008 My husband bought this for me because I was going to be laid up for a while, and needed something to do, instead of just sitting around. That was a huge mistake. You can't play this game just sitting. If you are like me, you have to really get in to the game, standing and moving, arching your back, and moving your legs. I have tried it sitting, but I can do it much easier if I use my thumbs instead of my fingers, but it is not as much fun. overall, this is a great game, if I cold only get as good as my 11 year old grandson, who is on expert level.
My kids love it! July 20, 2008 I don't play it and I can't speak to the features of the game or compare versions, but from the number of nine and ten year old boys coming over to the house since we bought it, I'd say it's a hit!
My daughter, age 14 is the one who wanted to buy it, with babysitting money, and she does play it and seems to enjoy it, but my ten year old is in love with the game.
Hope that's helpful
We are all Guitar Heroes!!!!! July 19, 2008 My son initially bought the Wii and Guitar Hero for his room but the whole family enjoyed it so much that we purchased a 2nd Wii and guitar for our family TV. So much fun!!! Even my husband and I (late 50's) have fun with it. Totally recommend it!!
A bit pricy, but worth it! July 18, 2008 Guitar Hero 3 for Wii is a great game. It will give you hours and hours of fun gameplay. It is still a bit pricy(in the 70-100 range), but it is well worth it. The game is very addicting, and there is a 42 or so song lineup, along with bosses to battle. There are also bonus songs to play for fun. If I had a choice, I would buy this game again. It is also fun to play with a friend, or trade off songs with a friend. You can buy an additional guitar to play a co-op career too. If you're looking for a game to play with a group of friends though, maybe Rock Band would be a better choice.
Kids Love It July 17, 2008 My kids have been wearing out the Guitar. They love the game and have been looking forward to the Aerosmith version. My only negative is the wish for more songs. Great product overall.
