Wii Review August 31, 2008 Wii The Wii provides entertainment, excercise, news, forecast, internet, download of old and new games, photo and video support, internet and sevral system updates. However the Wii lacks features of the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 graphics, DVD, Blu-ray or HD DVD support, low price for games, titles, common video formats such as WMV and MPEG-4 however, it does support motion J-PEG, motion AVI, and Motion Quicktime MOV, as well as titles for download. In defense of the Wii, unlike both systems it has a better remote that can be used for great gaming and exercise as well as more excercise by real-life sports and fitness games by emulating on-screen characters.
Wii much more fun than when Wii did not have it!! August 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wii bought this system for our son last Christmas. Wii paid a bunch of money for it but this is a very good family type of fun.
I love the fact that it is so interactive, it gets him bouncing all over the living room. Just need to be carefull that nothing breakable is near by or ceiling fans for that matter.
I really have not found any downside to it other than the price of the games but all game systems are that way.
Too expensive, unless... August 26, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Only disadvantage was the price, but since I was told about [...] where I got one for completing a simple offer I've been really pleased with my wii. Loving the wireless function and the fun we have when family and friends are over. If you're finding the gadget to expensive then I'd definately recommend [...]. Just complete a free or cheap offer and refer some friends to do the same!
Great family fun August 25, 2008 We are a family of 4 with a 20 year old and a 16 year old. This is one activity we all thoroughly enjoy doing together. The sports games are by far our favorite. The entire time we are up and playing we are continuously laughing at each other. Definitely worth the money.
Grandparents stay connected August 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hey, my kids and grandchildren are the most important people in my life. The Wii is a great way to connect with them and have fun doing it. When do you last remember actively playing with your Son or Daughter or Grandchild? This great game helps break down the barriers of age...it's something you can all share, laugh and enjoy doing. It becomes clear on the first try that this is not your standard Video Game but a way to stay active just like outdoors activities of Tennis, Golf and Baseball or indoor sports like Bowling or Boxing. Be careful, you will work up a sweat but better still, you'll create memories your Children and Grandchildren will remember and cherish. It's a great product!
