better luck next year August 20, 2008 NCAA Football 09 is a good game, but if you have the 08 version of this game you should probably skip it. This game is really fun, but it seems that EA Sports has not changed much at all. From the music, the title screen, the campus legend feature, and much more none of that has changed at all. In conclusion, if you have the 2008 version I would highley suggest to skip this year and hope for the best in 2010, but if you don't have 08 I would get it because even though this game is way to similar to the previous version it is still fun.
Replay August 17, 2008 This game is just a instant replay. Played on a friend's system...so it didnt cost me a thing. NCAA 2004 is better...so that says something about this next gen game. Anyway...if you keep purchasing this trash at retail...then EA will continue to put it out. Got my copy of Madden 2007 for $3. I'll wait til the price falls on this one too.
Can you say 2008 NCAA Football? August 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
WTF? Its no better than 2008 which imo is the best game. Save your money and get 2008 NCAA Football. 09 is not even and upgrade - its the same game play.
THE BEST!!! August 12, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful

Once again, EA Sports Screws Their Customers August 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Outside of 1 or 2 new tackle animations, a slightly tweaked interface, and better jersey number management IT'S THE EXACT SAME GAME AS THE '08 VERSION. They repackaged it, sold it to the same suckers, and made a few hundred million bucks which is virtually all profit as they probably put about $10.95 worth of R&D into this piece of crap.
This is customer fraud at it's worst. This game is basically unchanged since 2006. I wised up this year and bought a used copy so as to not give EA any of my money. Next year, I'll forgo this title completely.
This is what happens when video game companies get exclusive licenses, like EA has with the NCAA and the NFL. With no competition, there is absolutely no incentive to make a quality product.
I am done with this series until they make some dramatic changes, fix the g-damn bugs, and finally give us AD mode. I will make every effort not to buy ANYTHING from EA until they start showing the customer a little respect.
