EA truly treating Wii as a joke August 16, 2008 Quick cash, little effort, thinks EA. With all of the Wii users in the US, they figure to make some quick cash, and it shows. The graphics are a joke and the gameplay is sloppy. Lots of bugs. It targets parents and young kids who have never played a video game in their life, so they wouldn't know what a good product is.
ncaa wii no good August 13, 2008 i've played NCAA for years it's my favorite game. But the control play on this version is absolutely terrible. They could have made the Gamecube controller campatible then it would be alrjght. Using the Wii controller sucks I played it twice and returned to last years version on PS2. Worst game because of controller i've ever played. worst money I;ve spent in some time. Will not play it
Not Like the other NCAA games August 11, 2008 This game is not anywhere near what the previous (and current for XBox and PS) NCAA Football games are. It is dumbed down so that it complies with the Wii's "Everyone can Play" philosiphy. I understand what they were going for, but I think that they are going to lose more fans than they gain with the All Play games. This would be a fine game had they put a differnt name on it.
Great for newcomers August 9, 2008 This game is great for someone who is new to football games. It is a very stripped down basic football game. It is easy for anyone to pick up and play which is what the designer was hoping for, however in making the game easy for anyone to play they have neglected the hardcore gamer or veteran video game football fan. (No online play)
In a very anticipated return to nintendo, many people were looking forward to playing NCAA again. however, I think those people may be disappointed as this game is very lacking in all the in depth aspects from the previous versions. If you just like to play football and are not worried about having all the options and in depth features then this game is for you. If you are used to playing madden with all the options and features then wait for the new madden which I hope does not disappoint.
Hopefully in future versions EA will be able to make the same game across the 3 consoles and include the all-play as well. EA stopped making NCAA on Nintendo consoles because it didn't sell well. This game is not going to help that and I hope they don't scrap future NCAA projects.
A Fun Diversion Not for Fanatics August 8, 2008 I read the negative reviews for this game and still bought it. I LOVE it! Now, I'm not a video gamer...this one of a "very few" I've played... I love sports, but I like something easy to play and don't care about too much realism or rules. I like a game you ccan play right out of the package. This one fits the bill. Fanatics beware....It's probably not as detailed as Madden or other formats...so what, I like it!
