3 out of 5 stars Not bad, good for multiplayer   October 1, 2008
This game is kinda hard to get used to but once you got the controls down the games not bad. There is a lot of different things to do. A lot of the game is flying in a warhawk trying to shoot down the other guys in the sky. In this sense the game has great dog fighting it a lot of fun and really cool. but some of the other stuff is to get in the tanks and go after people on the ground or fight with the old fashion gun and soldier.

overall the game is like 3 outta 5. its good if you have friends playing with you makes it a lot better.

2 out of 5 stars Not what I thought it was going to be...   September 19, 2008

I bought this game and didn't even realize it was an online multiplayer game only. I was expecting it to be something like Resistance Fall of Man with some type of offline adventure mode. Once I got past the hour long tutorial, I found myself struggling to remember all the different controls for each vehicle. My character often died before I could get any descent game play in to get comfortable with the controls. The online play feels very chaotic and unorganized. It almost looks like a big free-for-all where everyone does their own thing and the audio for communicating with other players is very poor.

I would not recommend this game to anyone unless you enjoy playing games where you see how long you can survive without being killed.

5 out of 5 stars Warhawk is Awesome   September 4, 2008
All I have to say is that Warhawk is an Awesome online experience that no one should pass on. Flying the aircrafts will take a bit of time to get used to, but once you can controll that puppy, its one crazy nice experience. You have so much to do, so many weapons, aircraft busters, jeeps with turrets. Its so much fun, I finally put down Halo 3 for a while to just play this. And for $30 (without the headset) its a bargain. Get it now!

5 out of 5 stars CRAZYNESS!!   September 2, 2008
I really like this game. It is one of the best online games available. There are so many different ways to accomplish your goals. It is definitely worth 40 bucks. Try it out if you are into multiplayer games.

5 out of 5 stars The Most Fun You Will Have With An Online Game   August 17, 2008
Warhawk is a game which some will remember from the original Playstation console. It has been brought back with the soul ability for online play and enjoyment. With a maximum player number of 32, Warhawk gives us a genuine chaotic war feel that makes this game fast paced and just a hell of a lot of fun.

There are a number of different games that you can play against online opponents including Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Zones and a few others. Two new gameplay modes called Collection and Hero have been added with the new 1.4 expansion pack. A new map was also added with the pack, which give a further extension of the game, thus enhancing the enjoyment. Vehicles include Jets, Tanks and 4x4 Cars with a gun turret. There is also a hover type flying craft which allows up to 5 people in at once and have the ability to control individual weapons.

I did buy this online via the Playstation Store which meant I got it for half price, but I think selling this game outside of the Playstation Store, but giving a free Bluetooth headset option is a good move. There is a further 1.5 expansion which is going to implement the newly created Trophies feature, and is also rumoured to be giving us a new map. Being online gives this game limitless possibilities, from the number of people in one game to the number of updates we can be given. Due to the constant expansions, there is no need for a sequel. I do, however, in a further expansion hope to see the maximum number of people increased to 60 or more. The online play of the upcoming Resistance 2 as promised a maximum of 60 people in one online match. I have no doubt that with this being a totally online game, it can be achieved just as well.
