Product Description
Shadow of Rome takes players back to the era of Caesar, when Rome ruled Europe and North Africa. It was a perilous time when false accusations, daggers in the back and duels to the death were the rule. In 48 B.C. Julius Caesar was murdered, and his advisor Uesnius was accused of the act. Agrippa, the son of Uesinus, will ask for the aid of a female warrior named Octavia, to restore his family's honor and uncover the truth. Fantastic sound through Dolby Sound Pro Logic II

3 out of 5 stars a Massive Mace and Two Broken Arms   July 29, 2008
This game is worth the 12 dollars I paid for it. Someone mentioned in an earlier review that the targeting system for the character is off. I agree. It is difficult to target grounded enemies and slow to move about in this game. Having said that, I like the brutality and the different weapons in the game. The targeting system doesn't really allow you to attack specific body parts so the game just gives you different outcomes when using different weapons at different attack angles. You can sever an ememy's arm, pick it up, and whale on him with it. Fun stuff! The cut-scenes are cool but can not be passed.

5 out of 5 stars It's great even the 2nd or 3rd time around!   December 31, 2007

One of my favorite games ever. THe fighting seans are awsome!. There are a number a weapons you can use that can cause a world of hurt on your opponents. I like that each combo has a speciffic name (Juicy tomato when you bash your oppenets head off, Meat sculpter when you carve them up, abuse to animals when you hit the tigers...yes tigers). REally easy use of the controls and easy to master. The chariot race gives the areana a different spin. THe more earn SALVOS, you can get better armor. Some reviews that were previously given say that the stealth scenes ruined the game. I disagree!! It changed the momentum of the game that turned action into mystery and kept you wanting more.
You can alos unlock secrets and cheats by replaying the battle scenes and acheiving a rank.

Overall, I would recommend getting this game and don't delete the saves. It's a good stress reliever too.

i paid for expedited shipping and i got it like 8 days later. The game is shadow of Rome. i am very happy with the game but i was upset i had to wait so long when i paid extra for it to be delivered faster. for all of u out there i reccomend u do not pay for expedited shipping because it will probably come the same time as if u didnt pay more. the game shadow of rome is really fun and exciting. i wouldnt reccomend anyone under 14 play it because of the gore and violoence though.

What can i say...This game is cool. The arena battle are heart pumping and adreniline filled(especially when you severe some poor guy's head from his shoulders and show it to the crowd,HOOORAWWWWW.)But right as the game gets cool you get draged from the coolness and are forced to do some retarded mission for some kid named octopus or something, he's like a pacifist because he doesnt kill anyone. Overall this game rocks, Buy IT!!!!!!!!!!!
