Product Description TAIKO: Drum Master gives you a chance to prove you're Taiko master! In this game, players will be challenged to perfect their skills with the taiko - a traditional Japanese drum. Leave it to the Japanese May 17, 2008 After living in Japan for 6 years, I thought this would be great for the kids. Well - I (a grown adult) can't even pass the easy level. Leave it to the Japanese to create a difficult kids game. It is lots of fun though (when in the right mode). I like the fact that it has a tutorial, so you don't have to "read" the manual.
4.5 is my Rating score for this. (T_T) December 30, 2007 Although this game is alot of Fun and deserves 5 stars I gotta agree with previous reviewers that they should of added more song choices and maybe throw in some japanese festival songs to drum to. What really bugs me most is the little itty bity grip pads on the drum stand dont grip very well so if you pick a song requiring fast movements and drumming be prepared to have your drum slip off the stand and constantly having to pause the game to place it back on the stand. I peeled off the grips and put velcro onto my drum to stop it from moving around while I drummed. Other wise this is an AOK game.
Fun and addicting--a real winner! December 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love it! Truly not just for kids or teens. So much fun that when it got too late to bang on the drums for fear of disturbing the neighbors, I switched to the regular controller and made no noise at all--and it's easier because you don't have to be sure to hit the drum just right so my scores were higher. The songs are really great compared to what I've heard on the DDR games. At least with this one I am familiar with most of the titles. I honestly think that this would make a great gift for a player of any age. It will remain a challenge for along time because of all the levels. This is a real winner!
great fun October 19, 2007 like the review by Michelle, this is a great game, great work out and family fun, the only down side is the music, it needed more taiko based songs and there are not alot of songs in it. But if you have two drums, it will be even more fun. also there aren't taiko drum master games out there except this one which is a shame.
FUN July 16, 2007 Many other people describe the game in their reviews, so I'll just say that this game is tons of fun. More songs would have been nice though. We get shafted and only get one Taiko Drum Master game when Japan gets many.
