4 out of 5 stars Great Game   February 9, 2008
This is a good game if you like the game Black. Most of it is really easy for anyone to figure out. You don't have to figure out any hard puzzles or anything like that. You must achieve certain goals, like link up with a platoon so all you have to shoot and kill everything in between you and your objective. It is a good game if you like shooting and blowing things up. Don't buy if you are looking for a game with a bunch of puzzles. Buy it if you like blowing people rp to hell!

3 out of 5 stars Fun Game   January 18, 2008
After playing all the Socom and MOH games it was nice to have a different format. Snowblind is a futuristic special opps game and is fun to play. All the different weapons and special abilities of the character makes for some very creative fighting. I would like to see a second series of this game.

1 out of 5 stars Blindingly Boring   November 27, 2007

The game play on the PS2 version of this game was incredibly disappointing. The graphics are also a bit dated. There is just nothing about this game that makes it worth buying -- or even playing. If you want a great shooter that is just fun to play, stick with "Black."

4 out of 5 stars Best first person shooter I've played so far.   November 2, 2007
In this game, you'll get killed a lot. However, each time you're killed, it makes you want to try again immediately because you've thought of some new strategy or combination of weapons to use to get through your enemies. And that strategy works! Then it's on to the next part, where you'll get killed several times and immediately want to try again. It's positively addictive!

The coolest part are the weapons. One of them can fire a bolo type thing, with electronic balls held together with electricity. It hits your enemy and pummels him into submission. If there's not an enemy around, it bounces along beside you like a dog. So cool! Another weapon can clear everything out of a whole hallway - everything goes "whoosh" down to the far end. Another fires a ball of light that hovers above your enemies heads and zaps them with electricity. You also get grenades, a cool sniper rifle, rocket launcher, and another gun that can fire through walls. Enemies don't stand a chance!

The graphics in this game are great, though the environments could have been a bit more varied. You occasionally get control of a vehicle, which sort of sucked because the aiming system makes it very difficult to hit anything. You thought you could blast everything and everyone to smithereens, and instead you can barely hit one guy. Oh well, like I say, you'll only spend about 2% of your time controlling these things.

I'm afraid that as fun as this game was to play the first time, it had virtually no replay value. Once you've worked out the strategies to get past each group of guys, well, that's pretty much it. Still, it was a whole lot of fun to play and I'll give it four stars out of five.
