 Simplicity, and fun May 15, 2008
This remote control is very useful, since I have it, it is much more easy and comfortable to use than the joystick control to watch blu-ray and dvd.
This product is very well done, and most of it, Sony did it.
You can remove the *$#& Stop button like I did! May 14, 2008
The PS3 is a great Blu-ray player and this control is pretty good except for the giant stop button in the middle that ALWAYS gets pushed by accident. When this happens it not only kicks you back to the PS3 system menu; it also loses your spot. After doing this for about the tenth time and yelling a stream of profanities loud enough to wake the neighbors, I resolved to fix this problem or break my remote trying.
It was really easy. First, remove the batteries. Then what I did is hold the control with my left hand and with my right hand stick my pocket knife in by the side of the stop button and pry it out. The button was a little stubborn and took a few tries to come out. When it came out, the knife popped free and I ended up cutting my left thumb. (word to the wise: use a vise to hold the control if you attempt this).
My control works perfectly and I never have to worry about that stupid stop button again. My thumb is ok too, and the small amount of pain I endured was certainly worth it.

This remote control is essential for those who use the playstation 3 as a movie player.

This is a definite "must have" product if you own a PS3. It is a bluetooth based device that "paired" with the PS3 console very easily.
The controls are very easy to get used to and the price can't be beat.
