5 out of 5 stars Really addictive   July 3, 2008
Despite some negative reviews of this game, I truly find this game sensational to play, and very addictive. The graphics on it are really something to behold, especially on the new Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color I just bought - also through Amazon. This game really takes me back a few years when I couldn't get enough of playing pinball. All the classic games are there, so I find it really exciting to settle down and play each one of them again. If you're looking for a truly well designed pinball game to play on your Wii, this one is it. I owe a co-worker a big thanks for turning me on to this. Great job, and a game that will see a lot of play in my house.

5 out of 5 stars Close to the real thing   July 2, 2008

I've played many video pinball games, and this is the first time that I've felt like I was actually playing with a real ball. The game play is smooth and I don't feel like the computer is cheating like I have with other pinball games.

I have never played Jive Time in real life, but I sure dig it on the Wii.

I've met a few table goals, but haven't unlocked anything yet. My kid booted me off for a try, and he likes it too. I think it is neat that they have included the promotional flyers for each game.

5 out of 5 stars A must for middle-age pinball lovers   June 27, 2008
My wife and I are not avid gamers. We bought the Wii system and have enjoyed some of the games (bowling) that came with it. I bought this pinball game on a whim and have really enjoyed it. On our big screen, it's as if you are walking into an arcade with the outstanding music and graphics. My wife also enjoys it. I highly recommend it.

3 out of 5 stars Great Graphics, Fair Game   June 26, 2008

I've been a fan of real pinball all my life and have played most of the popular tables. I've also played video pinball since the days of the early DOS based games. Quite frankly, this game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, but the gameplay leaves me flat. Way too many balls are lost down the side after launch without any opportunity to hit them. It also seems that when you have a good ball, the program punishes you by having a bad ball right away. "Bumping" the table is of very little help. And if you're over thirty, you'll probably be looking for the audio option to turn the annoying techno-music between games down or off!

The Williams tables are great, but I hope someone comes out with some of the old Bally tables next.

5 out of 5 stars I Want More!   June 23, 2008
When I bought this game for $20 I thought I was probably wasting my money but I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I have spent many hours of fun unlocking the Wizard goals and enjoying the 10 different tables. I am very hopeful that Williams will relase a 2nd Edition with even more games including Star Trek TNG. I grew up playing in arcades and never appreciated pinball machines. After playing this game, I can't wait to find one and start throwing quarters into it. Thanks Williams (and developers) for putting out a great game.
