 The Shock is Back! May 3, 2008
I had a PS2 and loved the original dualshock controller. For me, some games on the PS3 just didn't feel right without the rumble. This is a bit heavier than the Sixaxis Controller but it is not noticable during game play. The weight is actually better, and I'm glad the shock is back!

I didn't rate this low because I disliked the controller. I did it because there is nothing new here. It's pratically the same controller that was made for the PS2 but cordless. Nothing wrong with that but I did expect more rumble from it. The controller feels just like the old, standard controller with a little more weight (for obvious reasons). If you insist on the rumble function do not hesitate to buy otherwise, I would just game with your old controller.

Actually, I'm using it with Warhawk and in every shock action i really feel shaking my hands and for better performance i recomend the Silicone Skin Case Silicone Skin Case for Sony PS3 Controller, Black

The Dualshock 3 is all that it was reported to be. Have only used with R:Fom but gives good feedback both on being hit and shooting. It does take a little getting used to but curve is quite quick. Solidly recommend as a replacement for the basic sixaxis and will give a better game feel and enjoyment.

Works like it should, force feedback in PS1 and PS2 games as well. A bit heavier than the SixAxis, but for games that support force feedback this is the new weapon of choice.
