Not so great June 24, 2008 Not a great game, and I like WWII games. Needs more freedom to fly on your own. Game ends if you don't stay on the mission. Borring!!
A big pass on this one, if you want anything based in reality May 7, 2008 1 out of 11 found this review helpful
Sorry to disagree with most people here, but this game is asinine. Yes, the graphics are nice and the control of the aircraft is reasonable, but the entire premise of the game is truly moronic. For example, one the missions is to land a spy, on a moving train, using a Hawker Hurricane. A) The Hurricane is a single seat aircraft. B) Land on a moving train to let a spy out?? Come on. If you like "Zen" arcade games with an "artistic mood" then yes, I can see it. If you want something that has anything to do with reality or reason, it would be best to pass on this one.
Realistic WW 2 Experience May 4, 2008 Realistic WW 2 scenarios requiring lots of practice with each aircraft to advance to new levels and aircraft. My only suggestion would be to give a new game player more options of aircraft and missions at the beginning of use. I love this padkage.
Action packed fun April 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Blazing Angels 2 is the first flight simulator type game I've purchased in a long time. The missions are a lot of fun and most importantly the re-playability level is very high. The designers didn't waste time putting together a massive storyline, players can concentrate on different missions and non-stop action. Not the most realistic simulator out there (refilling ammo in-flight) but I'm still enjoying this one immensely after about 6 weeks of play.

Okay, let's put this in perspective. There may be better flying games out there, but for the moment this is it. You are one of the allies top pilots, and you must help turn the tide of battle. In the beginning the controls are a bit quirky, but the learning curve is not that bad. The online feature is where the fun is, putting your dogfighting skills, against the best to take to the skies. Do you have what it takes. You can download a demo at the playstation store. If you like it, then come back here to get it.
