Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Dragonball Z: Burst Limit is the first game of the Dragonball Z series to hit the next generation consoles. It features the detailed graphics and dramatic, seamless battles expected from a next-generation console. During each battle, you will find conditions that create new dramatic scenes with characters and movement reminiscent of the original animation. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques. Use of special skills will no longer drain energy. The lower your energy, the stronger you get, making for a possible turnaround of the battle.

1st of all are they serious???? they freakin end the game after the CELL SAGA!!!!!?????? please tell me the 1st dbz game debut on 360 doesnt end after the cell saga.... and the power moves?? give me a break!! they are a joke, i had more fun playing budokai 1 on ps2!!!!!! the ultimate attacks on budokai were awesome, they blew everthing up lol neways, the graphics are awesome along w/ the voice overs ill give it that, but they should have went all out w/ it... but i would not recomend buying this game AVOID BUYING THIS GAME AT ALLLLLL COSTS, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Great Dragon Ball Z Game, regardless of what others might say   August 21, 2008
This game is a very fun fighting game. Some of the battles are way crazy difficult on normal, imagine on the highest setting. Some of the battles are very one sided. The AI controls are questionable as it seams to be very weak and retarded in its logic one second then super ultra mega perfect the next. No offense is meant towards any person. I.E. Your opponent will be one punch away from defeat and you will have two full health bars, then the AI will unleash a flurry of combos leading to your defeat. Other times it wont attack when you are weak or your guard is down and just stand next you you blocking. There are some unexpected pieces in this game that are very enjoyable, and the cut scenes are skipable, but are enjoyable to watch. When you play, you always play as the winning side in the show, so whomever won that fight in the show, you will play as, good or bad guy. Your first time play through will be annoying after each win because of the unlockables, but that happened in previous DBZ games. The controls are easy, easy to be both a button masher and a button master, either way could win the fight. The graphics are great to watch, yet they take nothing away from the experience in the game. I highly recommend this game to any DBZ fan or any body that likes fighting games.

3 out of 5 stars Im not mad..... just disapointed   August 13, 2008
For me this game was a huge let down from the DBZ series, Ive played all the Dragon Ball Z Tencaichi and love every one of them, so naturally I purchase this when it came out. But I think that the only improvement this game have comparing to Tencaichi 3 are the superior graphics but thats only normal since the Tencaichi 3 was release for the PS2, I dont know why but they toke away so many great things that the old versions have like flying around, fast moves, and ki charge, and the things they put in just make the game slow and stupid like those drama pieces. Overall this is not a terrible game but it seems like a step down in the saga.

5 out of 5 stars BEST DBZ game yet...   July 16, 2008
This was the best DBZ game that has come out so far. It was a great story line and it is about time it came out on the 360. Very happy with the service from Amazon to get it to me and very happy with the game.
