Lot's of fun September 17, 2008 I bought this game for my 13 year old daughter and she thought it was fun. She liked that the game made you follow the recipes, She thought it was like Cookin' Mama. We have not actually made any of the recipes, but plan to do so.
Disappointment August 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am extremely disappointed in this game. I loved the other cooking games, but this one seems a bit contrived. The story is boring when it's supposed to be exciting, and stupid when it's supposed to be funny. The cooking mechanics can be tricky at times. It near impossible to get a perfect score. You are graded on time and accuracy. Accuracy is easy, but time is the toughy. Overall, this game is worth a try, but don't expect to be wowed.

My daughter LOVED the Cooking Mama games (and actually learned alot of cooking terms playing same) so since she has been trying to translate her Nintendo cooking skills into real life cooking skills, I bought her this game as it seemed more realistic. It's good, and she does play with it, but not as much as Cooking Mama. It's a bit more complex since there are stations where various tasks must be performed to get the plate out. It's more like a restaurant instead of a kitchen.

I bought this game because I like cooking games like the other reviewers. But I think this game is kind of boring. The stories and long and drawn out and you have to read them all the way through unless you hit the select button and that skips the story. The dishes also get progressively harder to make. I have made the same dish about five times and each time I got a low quality rating and I have no idea why. I think Cooking Mama is much more fun than this game. Save your money on this one and get Cooking Mama.
Looking forward to more.... July 17, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I enjoyed this game but it ended too soon. Look forward to future editions!
