my daughter loves it July 10, 2008 My daughter is 4 1/2 and loves this game. She hasn't picked up video or computer games nearly as easily as my son but was instantly good at navigating it. Having said that she still took some time to get better at the matching game for instance. She still enjoys playing it and hasn't got bored yet. She loves playing virtual dress up with the girls. If you are looking for a game to get your daughter started this is perfect.
Smart Girls Playhouse May 30, 2008 My daughter is 6 and really enjoys this game. It is nice that it keeps her interest for an appropriate period of time, so she is not zoning out for hours on a video game. I would suggest for girls her age or younger.
Smart Girls have fun! May 16, 2008 There are lots of mini games that are fun. My 6 year-old get bored with it after about 10 minutes, so I think maybe girls in the pre-school age might find it more fun. There is coloring, dress-up, matching and many others.
Great for small children April 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great game for young girls. My daughter has always loved her pixter and leapster since the age of two. Now that she turned 5 she wanted a nintendo ds for her Birthday. I had heard about this game from another Mom and I am glad that I bought it. I have also bought the Smart Boys version for my son. He has a DS that was passed down to him and this is the first game that he can play on his own without any help from his big sister or Mom. He is 3, and has enjoyed the leapster and pixter since around the age of 2. They cannot wait to play their games when we return home. If we are going on a long car trip (which we do often)they can play for a long time. I actually like that the music is either classical or soft lullaby music. Most video games do not have the most enjoyable background music when you are not the person playing the game. It has so many different features for her to play. Her favorite is creating the dolls. She gets to select the hair color, the length, how it is styled, what she wears etc.
Excellent for Little Kids March 3, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My 4 year old daughter likes to sneak and play her big sister's Nintendo DS when she's at school. This is the ONLY game (we have around 20) that she can play without help. There's no reading required, and there are lots of activities (she loves the coloring) for preschoolers. Even my older daughter pulls this out to play every once in awhile. It's not a game with a storyline or goal, just a bunch of activities for younger kids.
