Too simple- not enough for my 4 year old May 30, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a cute game, but more suited for the 2-3 year old set, if they even play the DS at that age. My 4 year old girl is of normal intelligence and just started playing this game this week (this is her first DS game). It is already too simple and she has done everything she can with the game. This is nowhere near challenging or entertaining enough for us. I recommend you skip it.
Good game for 2 1/2 March 8, 2008 We bought this game for our 2 1/2 year old son who was showing a lot of interest in my DS. It has a great variety of games, all of which he is able to do. You can voice record a praise statement, which plays when he does something correctly. We thought that was really cute. It's a good game and worth buying for a younger child. Although...my son shows much more interest in Mario Cart and Super Mario Brothers because of the constant action. Smart Kids tends to be a bit slower and could possibly get boring for any child over 3.
Great Game for Preschoolers. January 8, 2008 This was the first game that my daughter got for christmas. She absolutely loves playing it. It's very easy for her to understand and easy to play on her own. The coloring book and the dress up game are her favorite! I definitely recommend this game for younger gamers!
Great game for the younger set! December 27, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My just turned 5-yr old daughter loves this game. THANKS to the reviewers here, I gave her this game for Xmas after reading your reviews. It does contain the games for both Smart Girls and Smart Boys Playhouse. Easy to understand, good, clean, wholesome fun! Contained piano, coloring, matching games, maze, etc...great price here, too! Recommended for beginner DS gamers!
My son loves it, loves it, loves it! December 26, 2007 Thank you, previous reviewers for recommending to buy this one over the gender based games. My son loves ALL the games on it! He got it yesterday, went to bed playing it last night and when I woke up, I found him playing with it this morning. I asked him if he liked it and he said "YEAH! I LOVE IT!" ...that was worth the price of the game right then and there. :)
