Product Description You are transported into a world where evil drones are attacking the inhabitants in Drone Tactics. It's up to you to help lead them into battle against the Black Swarm. Build an army of your own drones to fight back. Each drone has its own strengths, so use them wisely if you want to win the battle. You can also give them weapons you earn on the battlefield, and use Battle Cards to heal your troops, pepper the enemy from afar, and teleport around the map. These cards can be combined to create a super-card. Earn more cards by drawing "crests" that you see in the field. So help the people and win the war!
From the Manufacturer A turn-based tactical RPG using cybernetic mechbugs called Drones, in Drone Tactics insects ranging from stag beetles to cockroaches become player-controlled war machines, as the battle to save the alien world of Cimexus rages. It began as an ordinary summer day. But upon arriving in the war-torn world, the protagonists are assaulted by the black swarm! This menacing force has begun a campaign of terror against the intelligent insect inhabitants, and now the stage is set for the battle to save all of Cimexus.Features:- Build and command your own Drone army - Wreak mechanical havoc with your squad of insect Mechs.
- Choose from over 100 weapons, upgrades, and power‐ups to optimize your forces.
- Conquer dozens of campaign operations and over 50 additional maps - Take on the forces of the Black Swarm then confront the challenges that wait in the mysterious Badlands.

fun game August 12, 2008 A few weeks before my birthday, I discovered Drone Tactics. From then until my birthday, I was saying that I really want it pretty much every ten minutes. When I got it, it was a lot better than I expected! It's really fun. Plus, it has a great storyline that's filled with surprises.
Great concept and does not fail to please. May 17, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
As a long time veteran of RTS, and Tactical games, and fan of robots and mecha stuff, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this, and the wait was worth it. This game is absolutely brilliant. The actual battle graphics with the drones are wickedly well done, and the game play is flawless.
However, don't buy this hoping the story will blow you away, it wont, and it's no FF tactics clone either, the story is weak, but again, the game play is outstanding!
You can completely customize your Drones. Color, weapons, names, even put logos on their bodies. There's a ton of campaigns, and like 50 something bonus maps, so the game will last a while, and with so much customization there's a lot of replay value!
Buy it! It's going to be the best unheard of and underrated game of the year, I guarantee it.
