Love it! August 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little thing is great!! I spend a lot of time waiting during my mother's doctors' appointments, and this is perfect to pass the time! Should have gotten one a long time ago!!

My seven year old loves this game. So much so that we found we needed to put a time limit on his play!
Good Stuff August 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The screen is much brighter than the old fat DS. The colors are much more vivid, makes playing old games seem like brand new games. Speakers are okay. Battery life is good enough for me. Start and Select are kind of out of the way but whatever, it gets the job done.
Educationally productive August 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the DS for my two sons 6 and 4, my 6 yr old is motivated to read because in order for him to play the game he must read and now my 6 yr old is teaching my 4 yr old how to read. I can see his reading skills have more than doubled in just 2 months. He now reads 6 kindergarden books to my 4 yr old every night.
Brainage 2 Pokemon Diamond Tons of reading required.
V-E-R-Y SMALL August 17, 2008 This game is great for kids, but I'm an adult. I want Mario back, the way I used to play the game in the 80's. My sons got me hooked on that game and I used to get up early to play before going to work, and I used to hope my sons were doing something else in the evening so I could play. Finally I just went to buy my own. I really wanted a Wii when I bought this, but it's way too expensive. I'm retired now, so I live on a budget. However, that still doesn't stop me from loving Mario. I can just imagine what it is like to play the game on a Wii.
