This next generation dance pad is engineered and specially designed for intense dancing and maximum durability. Padded For Dancing August 1, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When it comes to gamers everywhere, they are into exciting games like Dance Dance Revolution. It is one of the most exciting and enduring games of all time. This DDR Dance Pad from Nintendo is mainly used for dancing throughout the Nintendo Gamecube game DDR Mario Mix, where you try to dance your way against you foes while making sweet moves with your feet. If you also own the Nintendo Wii, you can actually use this dance pad for the upcoming Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party game on the Wii. Although it is a bit slicker than the other dance mats, I really recommend this over the other ones, because it works better.

Mario Mix Dance Pad July 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
To start off honestly, this pad is a little wider than the ones offered for the Playstation 2 branch of Dance Dance Revolutions. It is also just as slick, so socks are still a big 'no' if the players value their limbs and personal propety.
If you're familiar with the Ps2 DDR pads, you won't have much trouble from this one...other than using the A and B buttons which seems to be the complete reverse of function for the Ps2's. Even with that minor inconvience, it's still a good pad and the image of Mario breakdancing in the center is sort of endearing to Nintendo fans.
If you have game, this pad is the best for Gamecube pad May 20, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Since it is original pad, I prefer this one to others however there are also third party deluxe version of Gamecube pad, different category though. I like this one and I have been using for 6 months, but be carefull it doesn't come with the game so you need to buy MarioMix game as well.

Nintendo is getting out of hand. Mario games are getting crappier, crappier and crappier. Mario is for one year olds. He should die. Maybe Sonic, Halo or any other character that doesn't come from nintendo should be world famous than this weakest-character-in-the-video game-history. All of his games is junk. This game is badd.
Original Nintendo Dance Pad January 5, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is the Original Nintendo Dance Pad just like the one that is included with "Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix". It does NOT include the game! It is needed for the 2 player game of "Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix". It can also be used for "Karaoke Revolution Party" which adds more fun to the game. It is a better quality pad than the Mad Catz or other generic pads.
