| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Dr. Sudoku lets you enjoy the hottest new puzzle phenomenon from Japan. Sudoku like a math problem, but is in fact a twisting puzzler. The rules are simple: start with a grid consisting of nine three-by-three squares in which some of the numbers are already supplied. Fill in the blank squares so that each column, row, and three-by-three grid contains a number from 1 to 9 with none repeated. It may sound easy but it takes forever to master! All-new tutorial mode

Good, but barebones, Sudoku compilation May 10, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
If you're looking for the equivalent of a huge paperback Sudoku book, this is the game for you. And if you want over 1000 puzzles, this is also the game for you.
Dr. Sudoku is a simple and barebones Sudoku game for the Game Boy Advance (and Nintendo DS), which, as mentioned, is quite simple. The game has 1000 puzzles, split among 20 levels, that range from the easy to beat, to the mindboggingly difficult. I've owned this game for several months now and I've only been able to defeat 150-ish puzzles so far.
The game also includes a simple edit mode (called Original Mode) where you can create your own puzzles. Also, if you're stumped with any puzzle you're playing, you can start over from the beginning or quit the puzzle so you can continue later.
The only two flaws with this game are that you can only save one custom puzzle at a time, and the game does not save your clear times for each puzzle you clear. Other than that, if you want a good Sudoku compilation without any extra fluff, you should get this. It costs about the same as three or four Sudoku books, has hundreds more puzzles, and you don't have to deal with using an eraser to fix your mistakes.
I purchased this item by mistake March 12, 2007 1 out of 36 found this review helpful
This game was a gift and it was returned because it was purchased for an Nintendo DS, and I thought it was a game that was only for the DS.
