Product Description It was 1980 when the world discovered Pac Man and video gaming leaped forward. Alot has happened since. Pac Man is back for your PSP but he's changed quite a bit. Celebrate Pac-Man's 25th anniversary with the latest in the popular series, Pac-Man World 3! In a mad search for power, evil genius Erwin creates a machine that can penetrate into the world of the Ghosts... the Spectral Realm! But now the Spectral Realm is collapsing into the real world, and this will bring about a massive catastrophe that will plunge the world into a state of devastation for years to come! After mysteriously having been transported out of Pac-Village and into this strange and different land, it is up to Pac-Man to uncover Erwin's plot and save the world. Along the way, Pac-Man will meet a host of unexpected "old friends," and in order to defeat the ultimate enemy, he might just have to turn his old foes into allies! Includes the original Pac-Man arcade game from 1980

pac man world 3 November 4, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
my son has been enjoying this game he plays it often and loves pac man
Graphics are great! August 28, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is great, the graphics ar incredible. I have the "old school" (or arcade) pac-man game and wanted a step up, this "fits the bill". It can be a little hard to navigate when you get further on in the game and it is hard to continue a game because it is tricky to choose the option to continue without loosing a game in progress, but that is the only problems I have encountered so far. All and all I would recommend the game to anyone who is a pac-man fan.
Pac-Man World 3: The best! March 11, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The voice-acting 5/5: A personal best! I thought this game wasn't going to have voices! I even love the fact that Pac-Man tends to tease the enemy!
The graphics 5: Better than PMW2! Even the enviorments are great!
The sounds 5: A great pack!
The HUD 3/5: Great, but why kept off-screen? It seems like enough clutter!
The music 5: Great action music!
The items 5: Great classic stuff!
The moves 5: Great new moves!
Overall 5: I own this game for Xbox and still enjor it. I beat it!
Pure fun, lots of eye candy, Great title for the PSP March 7, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Surprised this title doesn't get more recognition. Not really into platformers that much but this game had me hooked. The levels are designed very well and are an absolute treat for the eyes. Beautiful graphics, visual effects, and sound effects. Also, I really enjoyed the music score in this game. Very well done. I was playing Tokobot before this but enjoyed this title more. Some of the levels have trampolines situated throughout and you must bounce your way through which was an absolute blast. I also liked the fact that the game doesn't take place in one kind of environment. There are outside levels, peaktop levels, as well as underground levels which adds some good variety to the gaming experience. Special powers are fun as well and I like how you get to play some of the ghost characters here and there. Didn't notice any issues with frame rate and sometimes there is a lot going on in one spot when fighting multiple enemies at once so this was impressive. Overall a great enjoyable title. Still haven't finished the game but getting close. Highly recommended.
Pac-man World 3 Delivers a great platfomer for PSP owners December 14, 2005 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought this game early so I wasn't sure what to expect but I ended up being very pleased with the game. This Pac-man mirrors the PS2 version closely (thats what I've heard). You run around as Pac-man himself (or another character(s) later on if you unlock them) and punch, stomp (or triple stomp), jump, spin charge and more through levels. Collecting powerups gives you temporary powers like being able to eat enemies and another has this yellow ribbon follow you that allows you to create an awesome explosion if you run a circle around an enemy (I said WOW when I saw it the first time). The levels are really big with a great draw distance and the textures are pretty sharp looking. Sound and music (includes voice acting) sound very clear. Personally I thought the game has plenty of variety for a platformer. Loading times are short. Cutscenes look/sound great. It even comes with the original Pac-man plus some little minigames in levels. The controls are tight and responsive and the framerate holds up most of the time. The only complaint I found was that the frame does go down just a little sometimes (not a big deal at all) and there is sometimes a little "ghosting" that comes off Pac-man himself. These two slight problems should not be a deciding factor to purchase this game. Get this game! I was not disappointed.
