A near arcade-perfect conversion of one of the best fighting games of all time, Tekken 3 is an essential PlayStation title that belongs in every gamer's library--especially now at its bargain-basement Greatest Hits price. While the one-on-one combat here is essentially two-dimensional, highly detailed 3-D character graphics and a roaming camera viewpoint give this game a distinctive 3-D look. Gameplay is fast and furious, with simple controls that are easy to learn. This game also allows for special moves and combos to be executed with relative ease. Various modes of play are available, including "Tekken Force," a one-player side-scrolling brawler. Chock full of goodies--most of which remain hidden until certain requirements are met--Tekken 3 rewards players' persistent endeavors with secret characters, alternate costumes, and yet another mode of play, Tekken ball, a bizarre variation on volleyball. Also, beating the game's arcade mode allows players to view a beautifully animated epilogue that's specific to whichever fighter they used. Okay this game is cool and has more moves and characters. It is cool becuase it has a diffrent background for each person and the graphics aren't bad either.
4 Stars Is All Its Gonna Get July 7, 2008
Sorry Tekken fans, good graphics, cool characters, but lacking personality. Yes, I know it's stupid to take off one star for personalities, but hey, I paid for this game!!! If you liked Tekken 2 without the personalities too, I recommend buying this with Tekken 2.
Good arcade Game June 1, 2008
Fun arcade game, Good to play with friends. graphics are typical psx, don't expect too much. takes a couple hours per character to learn their special moves. Fun. over all 4 stars.

iT HAS ALL CHARACTERS THAT HAVE MANY VARIATIONS OF EACH, THE GRAPHICS ARE REALISTIC, TEKKEN 4 WAS A TOTAL LET DOWN COMPARED TO THIS.

With 23 charaters,8 modes for a ps1 game it easily ranks up there with the best the system has to offer.The graphics are smooth frame rate is 60-better than most ps1 games.So in short, I suggest you get this game.
