Amazon.com Product Description
Armored Core 3 is set a century after an apocalyptic event, when humans have built an enormous underground city and wars between groups wielding huge robots (Mechs) set the tome of the age. You control some of these robots and manage a number of strategic elements to successfully complete missions. Enhancements from previous titles in this series include larger environments, multiplayer gameplay (up to four players can play with a Multitap), and easier robot control with the use of the analog stick.

5 out of 5 stars Happily complex!   February 2, 2007
I love multi-faceted 1st person shooters where you can build up the machines, characters and more. Sure, I'm not a big gamer, but if you like exploring, shooting, blowing stuff up, and creating your own machines, this is the series for you (or me, at least!).

5 out of 5 stars Great Game!!!   November 3, 2003

It's been a while since I have played the A.C. Games and I saw AC3 and tried it out. I was instantly hooked. I am new to the world of MECH games, but I new this was a great one. I spent a few days trying it out and enjoyed it so much that my mom threatened to ground me if I couldn't tear my mind away from it. The graphics are great and I love the massive arsenal of weapons that exsist and weapons that are yet to come. I reccomened this game to anyone, wheather into MECH games or not, definitly try this one out.

The game ain't to bad, yet. I only put in 4-5 hours. The game plays a little slow. I can't under stand why they don't let you use the right analog stick for looking around. The mission are pretty esay in the beginning, but quickly pick up. The learning curve is average. That means "good". I'm still waiting to see some all out, guns a blazen', war. Oh well. The bottom line, a good rental. Indifferent on the purchase. Hope it helps.

4 out of 5 stars the best, but not much different   August 26, 2003

Armored Core is one of my favorite games. how could it not be? you're a big robot and you get to blow things up. one thing that turns some people off to it but some people really appreciate, is the customization. you can customize your mech much more than you can in any game thats anything like it. in other words, this is the best mech-based game. if you own armored core 2, however, this isn't necessarily an automatic must buy. there aren't enough new things in it to make you buy it if you weren't that interested in the others. if you liked the others, this one is better with plenty of new missions, but isn't much different. if you're at all interested in mech-based games, however, i suggest you buy this. now.
