kids game April 25, 2008 The graphics weren't really that great. Reminded me of PS1. This game is more for little children.
Great game PLUS 4 players! March 4, 2008 My kids were looking for a PS3 game that 4 friends could all play at the same time at their sleepover. This was it. They love it.
Fun at first, but way too repetitive! February 8, 2008 BOTTOM LINE:
It's great for most kids under 10yrs old. As a fan of Marvel comics, I loved to see some favorite characters on screen. Once I got past the initial moment of watching different characters do their moves - it was DOWNHILL FROM THERE.
You mash buttons over, and over, and over, and over....and thats pretty much it! Hit, Jump, Block, Dogde, Run, Rinse, Repeat, until the game finally ends.
And the ending couldn't have come quick enough.
PROS: Great selection of characters storyline reads like a good comic book.
CONS: Graphic are top of the line PS2 at best so repetitive it gets boring bigger sprites for Arcade co-op, okay? Uhhhh...Incredible Hulk???? make the ENTIRE environment destructible. all levels are similar mazes.
Decent button masher September 29, 2007 If you like Marvel heroes and enjoy beating up mindless henchmen, you will like this game. It's not a very deep gameplay experience and tends to be a bit on the easy side, but it's still fun, especially in multiplayer.
Without Dr. Doom playable, this game sucks. July 6, 2007 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
This game was an amazing game until xbox 360 got Dr. Doom as a playable character. The greatest hero in the marvel universe should be playable on all systems. Other characters are ok, but the ps3 bump over the ps2 version is mainly graphics. colossus' grab moves are amusing but who the hell cares about moon knight? If people want to play as batman they should buy a DC game rather than settle for the cheeesy marvel knock off version. Overall the game is very fun and I will modify my review to 5 stars the game would otherwise deserve if they come out with Dr. Doom as a playable.
