 Doesn't Fit September 11, 2008
I noticed i am not the only one with this problem.
The fan doesn't make good contact in the usb hole, i needed to play around with it several times before taping it so it would hold still and not get loose. Waste of money on this but i needed something to keep my ps3 console cool.
Will be looking for another fan.

we never could get this fan to fit on our ps3 which is 80 g. I should have sent it back. I cannot and would not recommend this fan unless you want something to fill up space.

I did some research on what would cool down the PS3, and only be powered on while the unit is on. This Deluxe USB Cooling Fan has fit the bill perfectly. The snaps that hold it in place appeared to be too small, but with both snaps and the USB connection, I've had no issues with it. It fits perfectly in place and powers on when the unit is turned on via the gamepad....very nice and easy. The 4 PC muffin fans aren't that loud, and when watching a movie, they are not noticeable. Very good product for the money.

This fan is terrible it wont even attach properly to the system. It just hangs there dangling and doesnt even turn on unless it is pulled out slightly from the USB port. I cant even express how unhappy i am about this product. I hope that someone has the presence of mind to stop allowing it to be sold. It is simple a piece of Junk times 10.

I got this item from Eforcity, delivery was speedy and item in excellent condition, highly reccommend this to all PS3 players.
