nintendo 64 August 26, 2008 I myself very rarely play video games, but my nephews and nieces just love it.
One of the Greatest Systems Ever Created January 18, 2008 Nintendo's 64-bit console may not have been the most popular of its generation, but - in the games department - it may just be the greatest video game system ever made. While the controller is arguably a bit on the - how to put it - unusual side (last I checked, most people had only two - not three - hands), the quality of this console's construction is unrivalled. No system before or after the N64 has been more durable or more reliable.
As I mentioned before, it is the selection of games that makes the N64 a must-have item, even almost 12 years after its original release. Games like Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Mario Kart 64 are all still some of the best games ever released. The system may be dated, but the games are just as fun and just as mind-blowing today as they were 8-12 years ago.
If you love to game, do yourself a favor and pick up a Nintendo 64. It may very well be the greatest console ever made.
Bring in the fun! January 3, 2008 This system is my favorite system of all. Even with the new systems coming out and the outrageous graphics and games, this system will always be the best in my opinion. From the 90's until now, I still enjoy playing this with my family. Any age, any gender, anybody will honestly love to have this system and play all the amazing games it brings. Most of the games are fun and enjoyable which you can play with your family or friends. Even the controllers--they come in different colors and styles that will make you want to have all the controllers. You can pick a controller based on your favorite color and they most certainly will have the color.
best system ever December 22, 2007 i have got to say that nintendo had outdone themselves when the nintendo 64 first came out into the stores. this system has graphics that really looks like your in the game when your you play it. when i saw the commertials, i went to the stores and bought me the first one. If i could i would give this game 999,999,999,999,999stars. THIS GAME RULZ!!!!!!!!!!!
Nintendo Alway's Wins! November 18, 2007 I can't remember a time when I was more excited over a video game console launch than I was with the Nintendo 64! I ate, slept, and breathed N64. I drove everyone around me crazy talking about it, and I even wrote some songs about it long before it was released [when it was still code-named the ULTRA 64/Project Reality]. I was lucky enough to be one of the very first in my neighborhood to purchase it because it arrived at stores a week earlier than expected, and I was at the store [KayBee Toys & Hobbies] first thing in the morning to purchase it. The employees at the store were still in the process of unpacking it. What a moment that was for me! And it was everything I ever expected it to be. AWESOME! Super Mario 64 changed 3-D gaming forever! There were lot's of ground breaking titles on the N64, such as The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time AND Majora's Mask, Mario Party 1,2 & 3, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart 64, Killer Instinct Gold, Mario Golf, Diddy Kong Racing, Cruis 'n' USA, Paper Mario and so much more! The absolute ONLY complaint that I have with the N64 was with the memory packs that plug into the controllers. All of my memory packs became corrupted for no apparent reason, and a lot of my game saves were erased! To this day I still don't know what hapened? All in all, the Nintendo 64 was an AWESOME system with a bunch of MUST HAVE games! If you don't have one you should definately get one and see what you've been missing! Unless you'd rather just download some N64 games on the Nintendo Wii's virtual console. Of course, you have to be hooked up to the internet to do this, though that basically goes without saying.
