Overpriced November 27, 2003 You can buy all the parts separately for a little more than half of what they're charging.
Gran Turismo online July 5, 2003 Hi my name is Ben and I was looking at all the cars I have and they are very good. The problem is that I cant race any of my friends because they dont like the game so I was thinking for you to make a game called Gran Turismo Online. And you would be able to use the cars from the 3rd Gran Turismo to race on the online game. If you are going to take my idea and make a online game called Gran Turismo online MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS AN ANTI CHEAT DEVICE SO WE CAN RACE PROPERLEY. I hate when people cheat because everyone uses the best car and I would always loose. To me thats not fair because for example I build up a car and make it fast than somebody cheats and beats me than the game would not be fun.
PS2 was good, but after November, Xbox is better..... November 12, 2002 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
First off, PS2 WAS a good system. Now, most of its hits are going to Xbox. Hits such as Metal Gear Solid 2, Baldur's Gate, Medal of Honor: Frontline, and most of PS2's other big names. The only two games Xbox isn't getting is Grand Theft Auto (Sony bribed the developers to keep it exclusive to PS2, darn them, but it ends in 2004), but you can get it on PC. Final Fantasy? Who needs it? Its good, but it alone isn't worth buying a PS2 for. Xbox has Mechassualt (best Mech game ever, and NOT on the PC), Halo, Dead Or Alive 3, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Blinx (I love that game!), Shenmue 2, Oddworld: Munches Oddyssey, House of the Dead 3, Sega GT 2002, and Panzer Dragoon Orta, some of the best games known to man, as exclusives! Plus, many PS2 games ported to Xbox will have extra content, such as new levels, new extras, etc. Buy an Xbox, and you will be getting the cream of every crop. Buy PS2, and you will be getting the sloppy seconds of many games (like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which will support Xbox Live, but not Sony's online plan). If you want online games, don't even bother with PS2, it will not be the best one out for online games. Several games, including Timesplitters 2, will not include online gameplay, becuase it was to hard for the developers of the game to set up.So what if PS2 has a bigger library? 80% of those games are not worth buying, while the xbox is seeing a good deal of EXCLUSIVE greats coming in the future. Don't buy PS2. trust me. Hello, I am updating this reveiw. In the paragraph above, it originally said "better library". I apologize, it was a typ-o. I have some more things to say. No, the PS2 online is not "free". Many big games, like Final Fantasy XI, will be charging a monthly fee. Also, PS2 online isn't not at all secure, and so you can expect cheaters and hackers running rampant on the servers, like on the Dreamcast. Xbox Live is totally secure, and will require only one $9.95 fee. Plus its free for a year. There will be many PS2 online games that will require there own monthly fees. Also, expect little innovation in PS2's future games. All of the big innovative games are coming to Xbox in spades in 2003. Like Fable, Halo 2, Sudeki, Steel Battalion 2, Lamborgini, Crimson Sea, Ninja Gaiden, and others. So, it all comes down to this: do you want the Xbox, or the over priced Portstation 2? You decide, but I would suggest Xbox if you want the best, most cutting edge games around, Xbox will be the one to get!
Great system, great games, way overpriced. September 11, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just bought a PS2 and I love it. However, I do have one complaint. The price is way too high! you'd be better off buying the game sepratly

this is the worst I have spent money on PS2 is not worth [money] the dvd player skips every 15 minuts because it is only 4x which is put in the PS2 just so you would think it was beter than the supior Dreamcast but in reality GT3 is the worst racing game I have ever played and the memory cards are [money] and for [money] you can get a ... which you can play games on because it is equal to a ... so the best thing to do with a PS2 ... is to smash it and get on tape to show Sony that this was their worst ever Gran turismo 2 is more fun to play than the 3rd the only game on PS2 would be Gran theft auto 3 and it would have better graphics on dreamcast and would be twice as more fun so do us all a favor and buy a ... one reason Dreamcast is beter is that it has more polly gons per second than the ... 2 and Metropolis Street racer has double the graphics than PS2. The best things to do with a PS2 is either sell it for [money], burn it or even smash it destruction is needed for ... systems like this peice of ... if you rate to ... matter it might rate higher but just get a ... it just rocks.
