Nice tool! July 23, 2008 Awesome and a must have to say the least. Especially if you spend more than two hours a day online on your 360. Not to menion the fact that it looks great with the green light and all.
The only thing i didn't like about this station was the fact that it's slippery and you get the feeling that the console will slip out of it at some point. They stand should be a little bit deeper to hug the console better :)
It doesn't help! June 26, 2008 The problem with this device is that the 360's main fan is on the bottom when standing vertical. Even with a fan, the air flow will get cut off while on a hard surface. I bought the white one, and I got the RROD.
Luckily I got advice from a friend and my RROD went away. the best way to keep the 360 cool is to stand it horizantaly on the box it came in. Not only do I have this, I have an inter cooler EX and a fan set up to keep it cool.
trust me, this works better than buying a product that doesnt help.
Looks Hella Cool! June 22, 2008 You can never really be sure if these so-called coolers ever really actually work, but what I CAN comment on is that it fits the Elite perfectly, as well as having the same matte black color, so you wouldn't be able to tell that it was 2 separate units. And of course the "Godzilla" green lights are awesome, and it has 2 slots on each side to hold the memory cards. The plastic "chrome" front is really really tacky though lol.
Failed in 3 hours May 18, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I picked this thing up before GTA IV came out cause my elite was overheating. Thing lasted less than 3 hours, cause the next day I go to use it and it doesnt turn on. Awesome I know, i dont even get a dumb light stand, in other relations the intercooler EX worked awesome.
FAIL!
Intec XB3-G8680 XBox 360 Elite Cooling Station May 14, 2008 Great! Seems to really help the cooling of the system, not to mention the fact that it has really cool glow in the dark, flourescent green lighting, which makes it look really neat.
