jesus christ guys, nyko makes things for everything, just go for the microsoft one, these dont work with play and charge kits, plus if you have more then 2 controllers, you can only charge two, whereas with the microsoft on, pop em in pop em out, that simple.

5 out of 5 stars Well worth it!   June 27, 2008
This charging base works exactly as advertised! Imagine that! It lets you know when it is charing the controller, it is simple to use, it holds your controllers, it does not need any force what-so-ever to start it charings, and the price is good. I would recommend it in a heart beat!

5 out of 5 stars Best Charger Ever   June 16, 2008

I waited to write this review until I had used the product for two weeks. I had planned to order a different charging unit till I saw this one. Prviously I had used a microsoft charger, but I was unhappy with its performance and the constant swapping of batteries. So far I am in love with this unit. Sure, the battery must be attached to the charger, you can't have the headphones plugged in and the lights are bright, but the super quick cgarging time and convenience make it worth it! So far the batteries have lasted through even my longest HALO 3 sessions. I liked it so much I immediately bought another for my buddy and he reports zero issues with his as well.

If you want a new speedy charger look no further. This is the unit you need!

5 out of 5 stars Everything I was looking for   June 3, 2008

This product is just awesome. First off it's small it don't need a lot of space so you could put it just about anywhere. It charges quickly around 4hrs for both. Plus for the price you can't beat it, it does everything it suppose too.

4 out of 5 stars Good, but has some minor problems   June 3, 2008

The Xbox 360 Charge Base does what it says it will do, but it has a few flaws that cost it one star.

I bought the Charge Base because I was tired of swapping out my rechargeable batteries (I have the Quick Charge kit). Now, I just leave my controller in the base and my batteries are always fully charged. I haven't had the Charge Base long enough to say how quickly it charges or how long a charge last, but I can't imagine anyone playing their Xbox so much that it really matters.

The bottom of the Charge Base is a non-skid surface, so that helps it stay in place.

There are a few problems, though.

1) You must disconnect any headset before putting the controller in the base. The jack where the headset goes is covered by the Charge Base, so there's no room for it. I like to have one controller with a headset and another one without, so that I don't have to frequently insert and remove the headset, but I guess those days are over.

2) The red LEDs that show it's charging is much too bright. I could probably see the LEDs from a hundred feet away in broad daylight. Fortunately, the LEDs are on only when its charging, but I intend on masking them with tape.

3) You cannot recharge a battery unless the battery is inserted in the controller. The weight of controller is needed to keep the battery in contact with the charging pins.

4) It cannot be wall mounted.

So overall, this is pretty good, but it could be better.
