5 out of 5 stars Great Controller   August 2, 2008
I've been wanting to buy this GC controller so that i can play Super Smash Brothers Brawl on my Wii and it works perfectly. Not only that but now i can now purchase Wiiware and Virtual Console games that cannot be played by the wiimote alone. As we speak i am playing the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The controller has been marvelous and works great. Of course like many others might have stated in the past the only problem i have with it is the awkward placement of the Z button but other than that everything is fine. I would recommend it to everyone.

1 out of 5 stars 3rd Party Gamecube Controller   July 24, 2008

As expected for a 3rd party product, the purchased controller lasted 1 day. I personally recommend to obtain an original controller manufactured by nintendo.

5 out of 5 stars Love the Gamecube Controller   June 29, 2008
Nintendo did an awesome job designing the GameCube controller, I believe. The button placement, for me at least, is very natural, much more so than the Xbox controllers or the Dual Shock controllers. Of course, if you are looking at this you probably already own a GameCube, thus own a controller and have your own opinion.

This is the controller to buy though, you definitely want a Nintendo brand controller. Third party GameCube controllers, from companies other than Nintendo, tend to be lower quality and will not last nearly as long. It may cost a bit more for the Nintendo brand, but the quality is worth it.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Controller!!   June 26, 2008
This controller is excellent, it provides all the buttons and analog sticks (thank God). As other peoples reviews are saying, " I can't reach the Z button, the R and L are in a awkward position." Well, hold the controller right for goodnes sake. Now take my steps on how to hold a controller:

1. Hold your hands out
2. Turn them so the pointer fingers are pointing at each other.
3. Seperate the Thumb and Pointer finger from the three others. (Still using step 2)
4. Curve the three left-out fingers.
5. Put one thumb on the Analog Stick and the other on the A Button.
6. The other pointer fingers should be on the R and L Buttons with a closer click on the Z Button.

Hope it helped!

2 out of 5 stars It acts all crazy after you use it a long time!   June 14, 2008

I got my GameCube and this Controller, when I was 4. After 6 years of playing Video Games, the Controller acted all funny and stuff. It was acting weird, like the analog stick I wasn't moving but my character on the screen was walking into wall and boxes, without me moving the stick. I turned off the system and read the Instructions. I did what the Insrtuctions told me to do and everything was fine. Then it happened again in about the first 10 mins., I was playing. It was strange because it was working fine the day before that. So the Controller has like 4-7 years, when it starts acting strange.
