This game, overall, is an excellent game. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the characters look very realistic. Also, the Predator, Alien and Marine missions are all fantastic and very fun to play. The only con is that the levels are all a bit short. The plot, however is very entertaining and easy to follow. The environments in this game offer jungles, alien hives and marine bases, so the environment is rarely repetitive. The weopons for all species are very fun to play around with and also relate to the movies very well.

AVP2 is seriously one of the best single and multiplayer games that I've ever played (beats quake2, HL1, HL2, UT2004). The single player game play is absolutely phenomenal! The human side is so scary that I was on the edge of my seat for more than half the story. The scarcest part was entering the abandoned base area where you blow torch a lock and enter into blacked out hallways that lead into the alien nest. When your night vision goggles run out of batteries, you're neck deep in aliens! Predator single player is simply fun and more of an adrenaline rush that comes with being the hunter. Alien story is hard at first, but gets easier once you molt into a drone. Probably, had the most fun with the alien campaign leaping, crawling on walls, and slashing! The human weapons are very well balanced especially for online play. There are a couple of different styles for multiplayer. The best one is survivor, where the first player that gets picked off starts out as an alien. The alien has to get humans as quick as possible because you get points for surviving as a human. When you're killed by an alien you become one so you have to hurry and wipe out the humans as well! Few probably play avp2 online any more, but this game is amazing and shouldn't be overlooked!
Wow.....Don't be the only one without this game July 10, 2005
Ok, Excellent game, you know the story and you can live it as a a human, alien or predator.....and the stories are well connected....outstanding graphics, sound, did not notice errors in the software. Have to admit I only jumped out of my seat once at a alien attack....but...I was distracted! Great feature is you can customize the controls on the keyboard or mouse...I am waiting for Alien versus Predator 3.

pros- excellent story, dialogue and voice acting, play as marine predator, and alien. excellent array of weapon and moves.
cons- the predator could have had more outdoor levels. some bugs(not literally)
NEED INSTRUCTIONS! STUCKON THE GAME! April 9, 2005
HI All
I have had this game for awhile now, and me and my daughter actually play it together. We started out playing multiplayer and now we are geting into playing single player with the alien. It was challenging and really fun, up to a point. Now, we are to " liberate the artifical hive" in this gigantic space ship, and we are lost in this space ship. We have run around in this space ship forever and seemed to liberate some kind of aliens in there...but IM not sure if it was the hive, the objective has not been checked/met yet. We are totally lost now in this game, and dont know how in the heck to get out of the ship..we have spent hours, and hours, together..please help....!!!email at badmojomn@juno.com....and if there are instructions or maps somewhere, that would be helpful to know also
