4 out of 5 stars Great Four-Player Funness!!!!!!!! (Really)   June 28, 2008
This game is fun and you can be lots of Nintendo characters, but you have to earn them first. There are two types of playing modes: group and solo. You play one or two players in the story mode. Up to four players can play in the group mode where teams battle, which is a lot of fun. My Mom doesn't like this game as much as Lego Star Wars Saga because she can relate to the story line and charaters in Star Wars unlike those random characters in Super Smash Brothers Brawl which do not have a real story line (or any Star Wars characters). Face it, the coolest role playing on earth is to be a Jedi Knight wielding a light saber, but I really like Smash Bros. anyways. I give my Mom a break because she is much older than me. If you like Nintendo characters, this game is great fun.

5 out of 5 stars Mind-Boggling   June 27, 2008

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" is an exceptional competitive video game featuring characters from almost every Nintendo franchise imaginable. Its unique gameplay, "sumo-wrestling"-style victories, unlockables, and collectibles make this mind-boggling fan service wrapped up in a family-friendly punching and kicking game.

As far as a learning curve, it's pretty low. I have NEVER played the original "Super Smash Bros." for the N64. In fact, I only played the sequel "Super Smash Bros. Melee" for the GameCube ONCE and didn't really care for fighting games at the time. However, even with my relative inexperience with the series, the game mechanics, and the controls... the third iteration of the series, "Super Smash Bros. Brawl", is easy to pick up and play... and fun for years.

Last night I had people over to play multiplayer "Brawl" and it was great. It didn't matter who was winning or who was losing, I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I thoroughly enjoy it.

5 out of 5 stars Brawl On!!!   June 26, 2008

If your parents don't let you get T rated games, then tell them to read this.
I first played Brawl at my friend's house. I thought it was very hard since I never played Super Smash Bros Melee for the Gamecube At my house I learned the controls and got really good. And eventually, beat the game.
Good things about the game:
1. You can play the subspace emissary(adventure mode) with 2 players
2. You can unlock tons of new characters
3. The Brawling never ends!
4. You can use lots of cool final smashes
5. There's much more!!!!!!!!!!
Bad things:
There are none
Tips: After beating the Subspace Emissary, beat classic mode with Link to unlock someone really cool.

5 out of 5 stars Super Smash Brothers Wii game   June 23, 2008
We ordered this for my son's b'day and he plays it all the time now. It is really worth the money and came in excellent condition. He would spend hours playing this...we just have to limit his Wii time. I would recommend this to other parents...our son is 11 yrs. old and I think it is a fine game for him.

5 out of 5 stars Fun while it last for single player, but always a hit with guest!   June 21, 2008
This game series has once again surpassed its predecessors! Though single player mode can get repetitive and boring (a continuing problem throughout all of the game series) multi-player mode continues to deliver along with the new smash ball in which people QUICKLY get violent and hyperactive to get (which is an absolutely hilarious marvel to witness)! My only gripes about this game is the fact that there is some characters that are EXACTLY the same (Come on, Young Link and Toon Link? Falco, Wolf and Fox? Luigi and Mario?! BORING! At least its not Pichu..) and the fact that the whole online play takes entirely too long in my opinion. Otherwise, this game is a blast with some friends!
