great June 14, 2008 this is what i was looking for. i am now able to hookup my 8525 to those accessories available to ipods that allow me to use it in my car.
Very Good June 13, 2008 Very good. USB plug is nice and secure so if you have it in your pocket the sound doesent cut out.
Great Product April 18, 2008 This is a great product with a very good price. I like the fact that the end of the adapter that plugs in the phone does not stick strate out but it is at a 90degree angle. This makes it less likely to damage the port on the phone if the adapter is pulled or hit.
The only thing that I could find to complain about is specific to an adapter that came with my phone. This will not affect most people. I have the Cingular (AT&T) 8525 form HTC. The adapter works great with the phone! My 8525 came with an adapter where you can use the audio and data port at the same time. The adapter that came with my phone plugs in the phone and has one mini USB plug and another plug that is identical to the phone. Because the adapter that came with my phone has both ports close together, the cord for the adapter hits the other USB plug. Note it still works.
Enjoy!
It works, but... March 30, 2008 This adapter works very well. I bought it for my HTC 8525 and it is alright for what it is supposed to do. However, as pointed out in another post, the right-angle adapter is wrong for use with the HTC splitter that goes with the phone. You honestly can't use this adapter with the splitter in place. And you need to use the splitter because the battery doesn't last very long using multi-media app's. If the manufacturer had pointed it the other direction, I would have given it 5 stars. With some minor surgery I was able to get mine working, but for this phone, AT&T 8525, find an adapter that is straight.
Works as advertised March 30, 2008 I just wnated something so I can plug headphones into the phone and listen to music. I just plugged it into my at&t tilt and started listening. If you want to pay around $100 for a decent set of bluetooth headphones, you can just use bluetooth and avoid the wires. The other device I bought allows you to listen and charge at the same time.
