Good! October 21, 2008 I would just say is good, because i bought the bundle and guess what, the guitar doesnt work at all, so i have to buy a new guitar. I guess theres not a lot of people out there with the same problem...maybe

The next best thing to being talented. October 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The funny thing about this game is that even guitarist love to play it. You'd think they'd just pick up their real guitar, and play.
It's a very fun game with great replay value. The best thing about it is you can play it on any schedule. Play one song before running off to work - Or play all day long on your day off if you want.
Play on easy if you're a light weight - Or kick it up to expert if you really are a button mashing master.
Unlike Rockband this game is much more fun if you don't have four room mates to play with you all the time. If you happen to be living by yourself, and your friends simply refuse to come over anymore.. you can rock out alone if that's your style.
Or there's probably plenty people online someplace on the network who'll play with you though. The set list has good variety containing both classic, and newer bands. Though I love the band choices.. I think I'd have chosen better songs for some of them. For instance Social Distortion got cheated with 'Story Of My Life' they have songs that would've been much more fun to play, and highly appreciated.
The Drop Kick Murphy's have a nice free downloadable song pack though! And I'm very happy to see Dragonforce grab a spot, because they're one of the most fun songs on the game disc.
Finally, the PS3 version! Beats my wired XBOX 360 guitar. September 16, 2008 I won't go much into the actual Guitar Hero franchise other than stating the Guitar Hero III has a wide variety of Rock, ranging from classic rock to death metal (or whatever the screaming voice is proclaiming). There is also a ton of downloadable content and add-onn content for this game. I am late 30's and LOVE this game. It is addictive and a great way to find relaxation. It also makes for great party games (had this on a projection screen connected to the stereo for a summer eve barbeque and it was a great hit.
To the point though: I have used this so far on my kids' XBOX 360 where they have the wired version. The wired guitar often seems to fail to record notes making it very annoying to play with at times. This PS3 version guitar is wireless and has none of that.
The unlockable and add-on content is great as well. All in all a MUST HAVE in your PS3 collection of games as it is unique in its approach (we also have Rockband but people flock to GH in our home since the RB notes are harder to hit).
A game for all ages!

Both my husband & son have to be pulled away from this game....it's highly addicting. We've had no problems with ours and will be ordering the Aerosmith edition soon.
