one of the best ,i liked the co-op campaign idea ,well u can't sort it as a "story" campaign coz it's kinda an objective & u have to finish them . but it's really fun to play i really liked it .

This game has it all, a solid campaign about 10-11 hours long. Coop Missions for you and your friends. then there is competetive which include skirmish battles , team death matches , core control Ect. in competative mode you can play with up to 60 Players online. get your moneys worth and get your hands on this SOLID game.

Resistance 2 is a sequel to the hugely successful Resistance Fall of Man developed by Insomniac Games released in 2006. The sequel is bound to be just as succesful. It consists of three parts, single player, versus multiplayer, and coop multiplayer. The single player is about 12 hours long and is just as good if not better than the first one. It ramps up in difficulty especially if you're not used to first person shooters. There is a new weapon selection now so that you can only hold 2 weapons at a time, making a whole new strategy element to the game. The only downside is they took out local coop for the campaign which I hugely enjoyed in the prequel. The versus multiplayer is not your typical run and gun Halo's. Its actually good. All kidding aside you can play with up to 60 yes thats right 60 people in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Nodes, and Skirmish. Skirmish is the funnest with 60 people. It puts you into squads of 4 people and gives you objectives to complete while a rival squad gets the same objective and this is all happening on one battlefield. It has great network code. I haven't experienced any lag whatsoever. I love playing skirmish and is some of the funnest online matches in a long time. The third, and arguably the best, part of the game is the coop campaign. You can play as Soldier, Medic, or Special Ops. The soldiers job is to just kill everything in sight, the medics job is to heal the other players and, unlike contrary belief, the special ops job is to give ammo to the soldiers and medics so they can do their job. Stop playing spec op like youre a soldier! Yes you i know who you are, stop! This game is definately worth the $60 and if you have a PS3 you owe it to yourself, your mom, your cat, and even your crazy next door neighbor to go buy this game.
Resistance 2 is Addictive December 12, 2008
I have been playing Resistance 2 since the day it was launched and let me tell you, it really has many great new features. I still love Resistance 1, and do miss some of the unique scenarious, but as to be expected with a sequel there are changes that are worth experiencing. I know I have. The 8 online co-op is awesome, and not to mention following the story from where Resistance 1 left off is just like re-living the experience once again. If you like First Person shooters and would like to have achievements to show to your friends, then you should try Resistance 2. There are 39 trophies, and over 35 Medals, and over 57 types of Ribbons to collect. It will keep you busy for a long time.

great collector bundle, r2 is as good as part 1, only cons i have for this is that i can't pack all them weapons with me during battles as of resistance 1, damm, if it's sci-fi already, why makes it realiistic that i could only handle 2 weapons at a time,, come on man!!
