Good game, but not the best August 12, 2007 Twisted Metal: Black has good graphics and awesome vehicles and weapons. However, the story line in the game sucks. The story does not go with the other Twisted Metal games.
Twisted Metal Black for PS2 June 27, 2007 Had been playing the PSX version which was lots of fun. Finally upgraded to the PS2 version and it's a bit faster. My only complaint is that it's visually dark and sometimes have a difficult time seeing what's going on. Great game play though and would recommend it (if you like this sort of genre).

Twisted metal black... April 14, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ok. First things first. I was nine when I first played this. And the game was pretty fun. It's a shoot em up car game with great graaphics, and "personable" characters. Bu then I saw the character bios. God, those were creepy, blood, guts, gore, taunting music, and other wierd effects. So ths game is pretty fun, but very dark. Or maybe I was a little young when I played this....heck, buy it if ya' like a nice game.
May be old, but it is till great 5 or so years after debut August 1, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great game, one of the best PS2 games ever. Mixes the genres of driving and shooter. Neat thing about this game is the characters have intermeshing story lines. There are 10 or so playable characters, plus a handful you can unlock by doing special things, which I am not going to tell you, you have to find out for yourself (or cheat). It features two bosses, one of which is unlockable. There are also some levels you can unlock. Any way, great game, great story, and I recomend you buy it if you can. It has been discontinued for some time now, but you can still buy the used version, or get new ones via other sellers on amazon. This the actual sequel to Twisted Metal 2: World Tour. I didn't think 3&4 followed very well. They were still good, but this does a much better job following up. for its age, it has great graphics. When it was originally released, you couldn't find it anywhere. Believe me, it's still that good. If you like multiplayer better, buy the online version. I give this one 5 stars.
