still great! August 4, 2008 This game was made 5 years ago and it's still one of the best rpgs out there. I would say arguably better than oblivion in some aspects.
Awesome July 5, 2008 This game will give you hours of fun and ther are a ton of mods to keep you busy even after you beat the game
Good game bad format June 13, 2008 I recently got my xbox stolen so i picked up the PC version of this game, games awesome, dont like the controls.
Fun and also Frustrating June 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Its a large game and while you should give it a chance I would say that its expansion packs are much better. While the game is incredibly complex and very time consuming it can be incredibly frustrating. The cities do have their own individual stamp and you will have a lot of fun running around adventuring but after you run around some caves and kill some zombies.
The main problem with this game is the shear size of the environment you will often have to haul something incredibly valuable like heather or golden kornet across half the continent.
Another problem that I had with the was the fact that while the cities have a distinct look of their own in the countryside there is no way to distinguish from one anonymous cave to another.
My final problem with the game is that while you have the option to take multiple quests to take over the various guilds when you win and after you have put all your effort into the quests the only reward you get is a bunch of people going "Yes Master" and "How can I be of assistance Master?"
Overall-While it can sometimes be very fun especially the expansion packs the combat can be awkward and the daring hikes over long distances will get really old really fast. Make sure you have a top of the line system it can cause problems in the form of frustrating load times.
Interesting addition to any role player's collection March 29, 2008 This game is a predecessor to Oblivion, this game is in either first or third person perspective, and although the graphics are dated if you want to play an rpg that has a good length and has a wealth of user made content this game is something you need to look into.
