This is a solid guitar controller, as it should be (Guitar Hero branded.) It works great- I have had zero problems with it. The USB wireless dongle doesn't take up too much room, either...low profile, not that wide. The battery life for a regular set of AA batteries seems more than adequate, although it would be nice if it came with the rechargeable battery pack (wishful thinking.) Bottom line...worth every cent, even without the rechargeable battery pack.

If your a big guitar hero fan this is a must have guitar it works great & what I love about is that you ain't gotta deal wit any wires since this is wireless

I started playing guitar hero before rock band and i have to say i prefer the rock band guitar way over ne guitar hero guitar but i have a ps3 so i had to get this guitar to play gh3 but all in all good quality product

The PS3 Les Paul Wireless controller for Guitar Hero 3 DOES NOT WORK for any of the PS2 Guitar Hero games when played on a PS3 (i.e. - Guitar Hero 1, 2 or Rocks the 80's). In other words - you cannot play GH1, 2 or rocks the 80's on the PS3 with the PS3 wireless Les Paul controller. There is no news of a software/firmware update for PS3 that will remedy this or of porting GH1, GH2 or rocks the 80s to the PS3 so they will work properly on the PS3.
Additionally the wireless Les Paul controller for PS3 lags - EVEN once the in-game audio and video lag have been properly calibrated.
