Low price, High quality. Fast deliver!! I got it as promoised. Strongly recommend you to buy it here.
great for movies. feels 'cheap' though. October 14, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
don't get me wrong, i love my new psp2k but it does feel cheap. the plastic feels brittle and i can't imagine that most of the buttons are going to last with excessive use. the umd and battery panels are loose and feel like they could break any moment. i love the screen for movies but game play is tough. the speakers are anemic but sound is great with headphones. the wireless is awesome and updating the system software and browsing the web couldn't be easier.
all in all, a nice toy. could be done better though.
It's what the PSP should have been to begin with... October 11, 2007 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
PSP 2000 Console - Piano Black- This system has everything that the original PSP system has with added colors for the background, reduced weight, a slimmer design with a changed (for the best) placement for some ports and buttons, more internal memory for faster loading times, redesigned buttons for easier gameplay and a new finish that is harder to smudge and finger-print. It is the exact same price as the original system but it is essentially so much more. Worth every penny.
PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack - Ice Silver - Exact same as mentioned above, except it is a really cool Ice Silver color. This is the system that is included with the Daxter/Family Guy/1GB Memory Stick bundle. It's $199.99, which is cheaper than what just the system and the 1GB memory stick are worth together. If you don't like either the game and/or the UMD that come with it, then sell them! You still get a kick-balls system and a 1GB memory stick! This is easily the best deal of the three!
Sony PSP Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron Entertainment Pack - Ceramic White - Same system as the previous two, but it is Ceramic White and comes with a really great Star Wars game. That's it, though. No memory stick or UMD movie. Just Battlefront (would have been better if it were only $179.99 or even $189.99). If you like Star Wars and need a PSP (especially with that cool-balls Darth Vader helmet picture on the back), this is a no brainer!
Choose whichever bundle (or not) suits you best!
Nothing different October 10, 2007 1 out of 11 found this review helpful
Nothing different than the other PSP. Although it was a gift for my brother and I saw it through the plastic covering, it's identical to mine, which is the immediate previous version.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A PSP! October 9, 2007 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
Playstation Portable is NOT only for games!!
Most people look the other way when they come across anything that has to do with video games. Most people will never touch a PSP, never know what it is really like. Games are only one of the MANY features of a PSP.
I bought my PSP about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. I bought it thinking that it would be cool to take on road trips to play games and maybe even watch a movie or two. I now use it for just about everything BUT games. Don't get me wrong, the games are amazing and very fun to play, but it is the "extra" features that make the PSP worth having. I bought a 4GB memory card for mine, about $40, and it was the best decision I ever made. I also paid about $8 for a decent video converter on eBay that lets me transfer ANY DVD video to my PSP to watch later. I now have about 300 pictures, 200 songs, 25 episodes of Seinfeld, one movie, and other videos. The PSP replaced my iPod as well as my PS2 and portable DVD player. I listen to music on it just about every day, and it is great to show off pictures to family and friends. I love watching movies on it, and the gaming is excellent. EVERY person I have shown this off to has wanted to buy one including (but not limited to): my teenage sister, my grandmother, my aunt and uncle, and my mother. It has so many features, it never grows old or gets boring. Sony comes out with updates that can be downloaded directly to the PSP via WIFI, so you are always up to date. The internet browser is awesome, letting you download pictures from Google and pretty much do anything else you would want to on the internet.
Overall, I think the PSP is a great gadget that everyone should have. It has so many more features than just video games, it definitely beats any iPod I have owned. The wireless features, slideshows, and videos make it one of my most prized posessions.
