HE IS NOT A ROLE MODEL FOR THE BLACK COMMUNITY!!!! April 4, 2006 11 out of 16 found this review helpful
To: Mr. Watson
I can assure you Mr. Watson, this poor exuse for a man is not a role model for the black community. Now, if you would have mention someone like Mr Tavis Smiley? Yes! He is a role model, but 50 cent? Not just no, but HELL NO!!!
My nephew, is a very intelligent young black man. He was doing research for one of his classes and borrowed this game from someone out of curiousity. I myself had the displeasure of watching some of this mindless mess with him.
As a black man in my mid thirties, who have served my country, have a degree, pay my taxes, contributed to society, me and my nephew were both offended, what we had witness on this junk, just plain DISGUSTED WITH THIS B.S.!!!!
All I can say, anything with 50 cent's name on it needs to be banned. He is a DISGRACE AND A DISSERVICE!!!! Not just to the black community, but to society as a whole. He continues to perpetrate the stereotypical image of a black man, which I find very very offensive!!!
I cannot believe not just with the music, but how so many young people (particularly black kids) would reduce their standards to this, well you know what? I don't have time to go there, let's just say this so-called video game was not only disturbing, but made me loathe this pathetic individual even more.
If he so, wants to "Keep It Real" Hey! 50 cent, why don't you become a real man instead of living in a fantasy video game and take your ass to IRAQ!!!!
Great Shooting Game April 2, 2006 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
This game is not realistic. That's the only thing this game is not and I love it for that.
This game is loosely based on 50 Cent's life.Since the word loosely is included, state and federal laws do not apply. This is a great shooter game.Better than Halo or anything other game with any kind of violence.
Don't get this game if you're a loser. The guy who gave this a 1 of 5 stars is british. He doesn't know anything about this stuff. If you know even a little you'll love this game right away.
A 50 Cent videogame? HA!!! March 22, 2006 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
These are the idols of today, hmm? Manufactured POP stars singing about slappin' da bichis an da hoez an chilin in da huud. This guy gives rap a bad name. And now, this women-abusing FAKE has a video game out about killing people while he just takes blows and is invincible. Come on, this is just 50 Cent running around killing police officers and white people. Uh-hu, that's a good role model alright. Jeez, it's amazing what people will do to promote an already commercially successful person.
And I don't mean to re-hash what Kenny "alex" said in his review, but this truly is the Grand Theft Auto for MTV Rocks, MTV Supporter, or any MTV people. It's sad to see the youth of today buying these horrible games. I mean, I wouldn't care so much if the main charater was just a random guy, but come on! 50 Cent is the main character. HE is the one going around killing people, and 9-year-old kids are looking UP to him!!! Are these the kind of influences you want your children to have? No? Then don't buy this game for them. Oh, yeah, and don't buy any of 50 Cent's music for your kids as well. Buy them ANY classic rock album.
NOW LET THE UN-HELPFUL VOTES BEGIN!!!!!!
Could've been better. March 15, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
50 Cent is one of my favorite rappers out there. I enjoy all his music and the whole G-Unit thing they got going. But with this game I'm not too satisfied with. I mean it gets boring after a few missions. As for the missions, they're all the same. Mainly, you do 3 things. KILL, KILL, and KILL. But I have to say that the counter moves are incredible. The weapons are also OK and fun to use, but they aren't all that. Now the thing (and probably the only thing) that I enjoyed was the music and videos. It's pretty cool that you can watch most of his videos.
As for the gameplay, it was kind of confusing at the beginning with all the camera angles. But I got used to it pretty quickly. The graphics are also actually good. The way they made the characters and the blood that flies around when you shoot someone is not bad.
Now, the Storymode is also interesting. You got all the G-Unit members (except for Olivia) in this game along with Eminem as a cop and Dr. Dre as a dealer. The videos that they show are fun to watch. Other than that, you mostly kill in this game. I also agree with one reviewer saying that 50 gets shot more than 9 times. Throughout the game, you probably get shot over a hundred, even thousands of times. So it's unrealistic.
Overall, this game could have been better, so it's only worth a rent and since I'm a fan of 50, I'll give this game 4 stars. But if you're a huge 50 Cent fan and love killing, than this game might be perfect for you.
sweet!!! March 6, 2006 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great! The only downfalls are: 1.Not enough guns 2.cant crawl 3.You get shot alot more then 9 times 4.I'm 10 and I beat it on hard in 12 hours of gameplay
