5 out of 5 stars Best Game EVER!!!   March 9, 2007

I don't consider myself a big fan of video games...until I played this game! Guitar Hero is the BEST video game I ever played! It is very well organized and really does make you feel like a hero!

I highly recommend GH2, as it has some features that GH1 doesn't have. The best feature of GH2 is a practice mode in which you can slow down a song that you are having trouble playing, and practice getting the finger combinations until you feel comfortable. Then you can make it faster and faster until you are able to play at full speed. There are also more songs on GH2 (10 sets of 4 or 5 songs each, as compared with 6 sets on GH1).

Lastly, one of the reasons this game is so great is that it leaves room for lots or growth! The four levels are easy, medium, hard, and expert. I progressed from easy to medium fairly fast, but the hard will probably take hundreds of hours (at least) to master...and that still leaves the expert mode which I am predicting I will never reach!

If you are on the fence about buying this game, either for yourself or as a gift for someone else, I would no longer hesitate to buy it! Enjoy!

This game is so fun! I got it for my husband for Valentine's Day and we played it with my side of the family and they loved it so much that we got it for my dad for his birthday. This is a great game to play with the family, and it's not too hard to learn. :)

Bought one and then had to buy another for two players. Its been a never ending play by play for my son and daughter. The only thing that is having them turn the sound down, overall, a very good game.
