i like this charge base it so helpfull and high quality ,, BUT IT IS NOT SMOOTH WHEN YOU TRY TO INSERT THE JOYSTICK IN SIDE IT.

A must have for your PS3 March 4, 2008
This is an awesome product! Who wants cables all over your PS3 or your tv when you are charging the controllers?! You can set this thing on the other side of the room or anywhere there is a plugin. No need to charge from the USB slot on the PS3 anymore.

I have 4 controllers hooked up to mine. They slide in and out ok. I do worry about the connection on the controllers getting loose over time from the docking and undocking. But so far so good.

Other than that great product.

This charging station does the job of charging the controllers. I have 2 complaints.... 1) It isnt easy to get this controller plugged in to the base station... 2) When I plug my controller in.. all the other controllers that are fully charged go to RED (charging) status even though they are fully charged...
