Perfect!!!!!! May 12, 2008 you don't have to buy a certain game to play a certain character or a fighter you get them all in one game
very fun game May 11, 2008 normally fighting games get boring after a week or two but ive been continually playing up to now it is extremely fun!
All for Street Fighter 3 December 22, 2007 The only reason why I bought this was for Street Fighter 3. SF2 is nice especially on the PS2 because it's an arcade perfect port. But already have it on the PS1 and this isn't much different except being able to mix past versions of characters with newer ones. Which seems pointless to me. I would rather be able to play each individual game rather than mixing them.
Street Fighter 3 is where the action is at. The biggest update Street Fighter has seen. Great character animations and the fights are challenging. I would have liked to see more classic Street Fighters in it because it kind of doesn't even seem like a SF game. More like a totally new fighter with 4 classic characters throw in. And I also would have liked a deeper story like Alpha 3 has. But, the fighting couldn't be better. I love this game.
Never ending entertainment November 23, 2007 I must say this game has got to in everyone's collection. It has the most balanced system ever established so every character is has the equal potential to be good with. What I love most is the parrying system which takes time to master. Above all the new addition of characters is refreshing. you'll eventually meet necro, urien, dudley, and a few from SF2. I was just playing it today for a couple hours and I must admit I wasnt bored one bit. by the way if you know what MAME is, they finally have this game playable online! Can't say anymore, so if you truly love the art of mastering fighting games this is for you. If you loved SF2: The New Challangers this if for you. If you love how NPC Ken is cheap in every game then this IS for you. Have fun!
well compiled November 6, 2007 I've always liked the street fighter series, and i like the direction SF3 is taking, but the story line could be a lil bit better. The story is not as good as alpha 3 or the street fighter 2 series, but some dont really play for story do they. The fighting is where the game stands out. I like the new parrying system in sf3, though im still trying to get used to it. I did dislike the fact you cant use all your super moves at will, you basicly pick one when you select your character, so sometimes the move can get a little repetative. The street fighter 2 series is also done well, with every street fight 2 game ever made (besides the moded ones). Plus you also get the street fighter animated movie thrown in for good measure. So for everything you get with this collection the game is a steal. It's worth every penny, especially for the price its going for. I hope my review was helpful
