4 out of 5 stars "B" Rated Movie Anyone?   September 6, 2007

Ok i dont want to make it sound like this game is bad or anything, but there are some things about this game that just dont seem right. First and foremost is the Main character is so Feminine looking its almost sexy, and the problem with that is, "He" is a guy. Its not until you hear his voice that you can tell he is a young man.

Second, while playing this game i feel like im in the middle of a low budget B rated movie with the worst acting cast on the planet.

Other than all that the game isnt to bad. This game comes complete with a psp update to be able to play it. Anyone with a PS3 has probaly done this already so it will skip over the update if it detects it.

Graphicaly the game looks very good, only con is while using R1 and L1 to scroll around the environment it moves very slow. Combat could have been a little better developed as well. All mobs you fight look like big black eyes with tails on the main screen, then when you touch one and combat opens up, then you will see what you will be fighting. The combat view only focuses on one character or one monster at anytime. So there could be 3 mobs your fighting and it will only show one on the screen. This was kind of annoying and hard to get used to.

The crafting system is not to bad, basically you buy recipes or find them in chests and can make some nice stuff, the only requirements for making anything is that you are the right lvl to make it.

The Lucse system is what i really liked, it reminds me of FF7 and the materia system. The Lucses are like materia and can be slotted into necklaces, bracers, and rings. These are also the only armor in the game. The more you use the Lucse the better it becomes, going up in lvl as well.

Next is the Dragon orbs, their are 2 you start out with, one from the fire dragon and one from the water dragon that your other party member uses. These go up in lvl the more you use them as well and also boost stats.

All in all i like this game, i find myself playing it with the volume turned off sometimes because im serious when i say this is the worst voice acting i have ever seen in a game. Its almost downright cheezy, and when cut scenes play i find myself laughing and thinking this could have been one of Ed Hollywoods old lost movies turned video game.
