5 out of 5 stars Best PSP Ever!!!   April 28, 2008
I bought this game for my son who is 12 years old. Well I am the mommy in the world he says now. LOL....:) He plays this game quietly in his room on his bed in between reading books, and doing his homework. Less electricity than that XBox 360 and no guitar..... noise, music... Great toy.... Thanks~~~~

5 out of 5 stars sooooo worth it!   April 25, 2008
Firstly, let me say that I always feel buyers remorse for any purchase over 50 bucks, usually bc i dont use it as much as i thought i would when buying it. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH THIS BUNDLE. right out of the box, it has everything you need. Daxter is a great game, and the 1gb memstick is plenty for starting out with. I have quite a few demos on mine, locoroco and lumines II demos are must haves. the ice silver psp is cool too, i was nervous that it wouldnt look at legit as the black one, but in my opinion it totally does. I beat daxter in about 10 days, only 83% completion though. ummm... the family guy umd is very funny, some excellent episode selections. i look forward to getting an 8gb memstick and some dvd ripping software to really use my psp to its fullest potential. Overall, this is a great bundle, you wont be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Short battery life   April 11, 2008
The games, graphics, movies, and everything about this psp slim is great!Except the battery life. By the time you really get into a game, it dies on you with little or no warning. So I suggest getting the battery kit along with or soon after purchasing the psp slim. It's around 40 bucks but I think it's worth it. If you don't, you won't really be able to depend on your psp anywhere you don't have an outlet or a cigarette adapter. I actually found myself not even bothering to bring it some places cause I didn't want to mess with plugging it in somewhere. Besides the battery prob, you can't beat the psp in portable gaming. The DS may be a little more interactive but if your're looking for more adult games, better graphics and the familier feel of a joystick, than psp is the way to go. Let's hope the next gen psp has 2 joysticks so we can enjoy those shooters as much as we do on the TV consoles.

5 out of 5 stars Great value, worth the upgrade over original PSP   April 7, 2008
I bought this package because I wanted to upgrade to the latest PSP hardware to take advantage of the addition of Skype software (frequent trips abroad for business warrant a free and easy communication solution) The package included a great game - Daxter, and the Family Guy compilation. The hardware is upgraded vs. the original PSP: It is thinner, lighter, has a "smoother" feel (corners have been softened, and the back of the unit is now shiny, which has a noticeable difference in hand feel) The silver color is cool, and is less prone to smudge marks than the piano black version. If Skype were available for the original PSP, I would not have made the leap, but now that I have, I am very pleased with the additional feature upgrades I've received. I highly recommend this package.

5 out of 5 stars worth the money   April 5, 2008
I haven't put this down since i got it great system the only drawback is that it looks a lil weak i feel it might break easily if i drop it it's not as rugged as the previous psp's so i would definitly recommend you get a strap which unfortunately it does not come with but get it it definitly saved mine a few times. It also comes with a 1gig memory card which holds a lot and the Daxter game which is pretty good oh yeah and the family guy disc which i seen to many times.definitely not for kids unless you don't mind watching 200.00 go down the toilet. hope this review helped.
