 Good little brother for PS3 March 28, 2008
PSP is great. The game and the cartoon came with it is ok. It is not only a game machine. It has way more functions... MP3 player, picture slide, radio, web browser and even camera. Looks like Sony is going to make PSP a iPhone or blackberry killer

The game is so, so, Family Guy is hilarious, but really what this SKU does is show off what the PSP is capable of. That is a lot. It is a swiss army gadget, but unlike a lot of products that do many things poorly, the psp does most things very well. Great purchase!

This item was purchased before the new God of War themed PSP slims came out so I talk about them but they're not included in the rating.
This comes with a video UMD (5 episodes of the Family Guy) as well as a 1GB Memory Stick and of course Daxter the game. It was by far a better deal than the Star Wars entertainment pack (ceramic white) for the same price and is worth the extra 30 dollars over the basic black PSP slim. That being said, I've seen the new God of War PSP slims, they're red and come with GoW:Chains of Olympus (obviously) and the movie "Super Bad" on UMD, I'm not sure if they come with a Memory Stick or not but they look good and God of War is the WHOLE reason I bought a PSP in the 1st place, but its release date kept getting pushed back and I had already purchased this. This Daxter pack is the way to go if your in the market for a PSP slim and want a game, a video and a memory stick with it and don't want to wait for the God of War edition to hit stores. I honestly think you should still get the pouch, wrist strap and headphones you got with the PSP original entertainment packs but that's Sony for you ... fanboys stay calm.

What i have realy noticed is that over the years, Sony has downgraded themselves. First, the web on this system sucks. Its slow as a turtle and takes all day. Second, if you drop it a couple of times, its done. Third, you can not get a low sound, the lowest is pretty loud. The most important is the battery littertly will die in a hour. The one of the main reasons i bought this, was because the battery and the weight, The Weight is way lighter, but the battery is horible. The silver is a better buy over the other due to the package. Sony could of done better with a second gen.

i ordered this for my 11 year old before christmas. it arrived on time. quickly. packaged nice.
all in great working order.
the screen is crisp and clear. sony makes an awesome product yet again.
our younger child has the nintendo ds. the psp is more appropriate for kids older then 10 (my opinion)
connects to the net... downloads everything.. games are miniature ps2 and 3 versions.. gamers that want it all the time - couldnt ask for more.
