I love my PSP! March 1, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little thing is amazing! It plays Music (mp3s/m4a), Videos (mp4s), you can surf the web, watch your photos, and of course it plays games using a UMD disc and yes it can even play games like nes, snes, sega genesis, gameboy, gameboy advance, PS1, and other homebrew applications! But you need a specific firmware update in order to play. But I didn't get it from Sony. Anyways, I'm in love with my PSP! The color silver and new design are very attractive. It's that sexy looking! :)
Could have gotten 5 stars.... February 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm only giving this product 4 stars because of one problem. Overall I was very happy when I finally received my PSP. Everything was included and I turned on the PSP everything seemed to be working in order. It was until I popped Daxter in and after a while tried to quit that I discovered the HOME button did not work. I hope this was just one time thing since Amazon has never let me down before. Thankfully I was able to get a new PSP in return. Apart from that, this product is pretty good since it comes with 1GB of memory and saves you a bit of money. Daxter the game is ok for starters but make sure you have another game to play since it might get a bit boring after a while.Happy Shopping!:]
I've owned a DS for about a year now and scoffed at the PSP February 27, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
And for a year now, I still think I made the right decision until a few weeks ago. Having played a level on Ratchet and Clank 'Tools of Destruction' for the PS3, I became instantly hooked on Ratchet and Clank. I had never played the previous installments on the PS2. I was also leaving for Iraq so I couldnt play it anymore until I got back. So here in Iraq, I began fiending for the game, heh. Then my buddy told me they had one on the PSP. What?! So I jumped onto Amazon and saw that they had it. I immediatly added it to my cart and then started to look up the PSP, only to find a multitude of options on what to buy.
I read that there was a new slim version out which you could buy alone, or in either 2 bundles (Daxter or Star Wars). I went with the Daxter one because of the 1g memory stick and the Family Guy UMD. I didnt care for the silver case, but now that I got it...it's definitely not that bad.
I havent played Daxter that much, due to me playing other games such as Ratchet, Burnout, and now Metal Gear.
I do have to say that I havent picked up my DS in about 3 weeks (and I'm in the middle of playing Zelda!). I'm LOVING this little system. Its much lighter than my friends old PSP. I like how you can add pictures and videos and music to the system. Very cool.
I STILL love my DS, but now I love my PSP also.
Both systems have their ups and downs and I'm glad I own them both now.
PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack-Ice Silver February 26, 2008 0 out of 14 found this review helpful
The PSP system contained in this pack is really cool. I loved the weight of the system, it's as light as a feather without the battery and any games in the system. The Daxter game wasn't really my favourite. It was boring and kinda hard to get anywhere in the game. The entire collection of the system and game is awesome.
This is the future in your palms February 25, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my second PSP, I sold my first one because of the lack of games available, but I immediately realized my mistake after I sold it. The PSP is seriously advanced, its like an IPHONE,and a playstation 2 at the same time, minus the phone service, which is coming soon, from what I read in game informer. Even though there arent many games yet, there will be. Everytime I play this thing it really feels like im in 2020 Japan, it's really sleek and much lighter than the first batch of PSPs, and if you happen to drop it, they're pretty strong, just dont make a habit out of it. Buy It!
