Travel Kit was Great Help June 25, 2008 Recently we bought Nintendo DS Lite travel kits for our two grandsons, ages 7 and 5, before going with them on a week's vacation to Californina. The boys used them faithfully and they were extremely handy when it came to keeping all of the game cartridges, ear phones, charger cords, etc. together. No digging through backpacks looking for accessories. Also, they enabled keeping each boy's accessories separate so there was never any argument over which items belonged to whom. They served well in protecting the game units as they were transported through airports, etc. Would recommend this even if travel is not in the plans.
travel bag is too small June 25, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This kit has some useful accessories, like the earbuds and the case for holding multiple game cards. But the travel bag itself is WAY TOO SMALL. And struggling to get a few of the accessories in there, one of the zippers broke on day 1. Probably the main reason I got this kit was to have (along with a few of the accessories) one handy place to carry everything in... but this bag is just about worthless.
worthwhile June 5, 2008 THis set has all the essentials to go with the DS. Keeps my sons games together, which are very easy to lose.
Nintendo DS June 5, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love my Nintendo DS but have some comments on the games: Brain Age and Brain Age2. Voice recognition doesn't work too well and the same goes for writing. No matter how you write your letters, the game doesn't recognize them and thus, you loose! Also, often the numbers change whilst writing them so if one is fast, you have an error. Seems like it doesn't want you to be too smart :) The travel kit has stugg in there that you never use or no explanation for it. All in all, you are better of buying only the things u really need instead of a kit and keep practicing being patient with the game errors.
Love it! May 31, 2008 Great storage for the ds and all its accessories. Also, very sturdy and well made!
